Nah, his build is way better. BM increase tankyness and damage as a tank. Rad increase damage and dodge. Any of them two is way better than MH as first item because the stun will be interrupted by large amount of enemies according to his game play.
Every time I see these tanky builds I die a little inside because I know people in my games are going to go for them, take farm in lane, and do fuck all as the enemy team buys a single shivas/skadi/spirit vessel and their entire build is countered as they run about slapping enemies with a wet noodle until they're the only one left alive, which causes them to think that their team is bad instead of the fact that the enemy can just ignore them and deal with everyone else who actually has a build that is effective above 200 mmr. Tank builds need some way to be useful before 25 minutes, people. It's why tanky heroes like centaur/tide/bristle/axe has spells that actually make them a threat. They all have either a stun, teamfight ult, damage amplifier, a way to flash farm, or all of the above. Without one or more of those aspects, a tanky build does nothing against people who know anything about how to play dota, because they'll roll over your team before you get any items that allow you to actually contribute anything.
@@janminglee3004 See, even having dark pact is better than most tank builds because it gives you flash farm and a nuke that purges on command and does 300 aoe every 6 seconds (plus the reflection from dispersion). The biggest part is that it gives you the ability to get your items as fast as or faster than your opponents. It's the spell that allows slark to exist as a carry, which is why slark went from relative obscurity to top tier when dark pact got the cooldown and damage talents in 7.30. It allowed him to spam it far more often to flash farm far quicker. This is also one of the reasons why dispersion is one of if not the best tank passive: because it also contributes to farm speed when tanking creeps/jungling.

With one radiance, tank builds can apply huge pressure to lanes, and its not possible to gank them with less than 3 heroes, and if his teammates are waiting behind him its over. Tanks can also dispel smoke, just act as a giant blink-dispelling moving ward, that alone is a huge advantage not easily dealt with. You can try to move past him, but you are under full vision and can't blink. They also deal a massive amount of damage, just look at this game, DK did the most damage, even more than pulse nova batrider, even though his tank spells are pure-defensive, just through radiance alone. Its just very distributed and weakens the enemy, needing the teammates to finish them off. They can dive towers easily, they can also defend towers easily. You can't really kill these tanks under a tower, which does all the DPS for them. Also, pubs don't have perfect coordination, if one person gets baited into attacking them, others get drawn in, you can't evaluate builds as if the otherside are TI winning teams.

Lol song for what regen for what if he already have good regen with holy locket and dragon blood + his talent too dispersion much more better more damage taken more damage to enemy and song. Why need regen if u already tanky and never drop hp to low?
Song make enemy invulnerable and sometimes make team fall in wombo combo and healing is not complicated get a heart and a sange. There is no damage and the damage reduction from gravekeeper is limited but with dispersion damage reduction is always 20% and plus it return damage to them so he have at least 2 source of damage
Ofc dispersion is top tier pick but this game there is no dispersion. Also super tank builds are countered by sticky napalm/ vessel/skadi. Dont need Silver edge too much hp regen only for 5 seconds
@@janminglee3004 and also in the way that i said if he have dispersion and reincarnation will not counter by vessel and skadi since it's tanky because he received less damage not because of high regeneration.but the current hp damage might counter but just get a lotus orb.

I had a tank build - Dark Pact/ Dispersion/flesh heap/ Burrow time. it was a good 27 min fountain camping game
