@@mr_mole2329 Thanks again. Our duties are for two years, then we handover to 2nd Bn, but due to this pandemic, duties hasn't changed. We mainly do duties at our President's and Prime Minister's residence. Our female soldiers are now doing guard duties at President's residence. Same drills.
Well, All I know is that he is a senior aircraftman, the propeller with 3 spiky bits indicates that he is a senior aircraftman. If he were to have a propeller with 2 spiky bits, then he would be a Junior aircraftman
I dont know why they allow beards in the RAF Regiment now, especially in the Queen's Colour Squadron as they are the public face of the RAF Regiment. Looks scruffy.
Why is it that the RAF Regiment is always turned out better than the army? What is going on? How do the RAF maintain standards that the army are failing to meet? Poor turn out across the army is the norm now. Since the army became an 'equal opportunity employer' the Guards seem to be recruiting the vertically challenged. This does nothing for their bearing on parade. In fact, many look ridiculous. The Household Cavalry being the worst offender.
All I can say is good job to the RAF for keeping their drill standards fairly high and consistent, especially when compared to their friends in red.

If he was Sikh then that would be understandable but he isnt Sikh because hes not wearing a turban, so there must be no discretion for that
