I honestly thought age of consent was 18 in most of the states, and 16 or 17 in a few southern states. Wasn't expecting that.
The lowest age of consent in America is 16. They misread the key on that graph

As of January 2019, 48 out of 50 states have exceptions in their laws which allow children to marry in certain circumstances such as parental consent, judicial consent, pregnancy etc (In 2018, Delaware[4] and New Jersey[5] completely banned child marriage). Of those 48 states, 17 have no minimum age for children to marry. The federal district and territories all have similar legal exceptions which allow children to marry, except for American Samoa.

Yeah they didn’t* seem to advertise it a super lot? I mostly saw it on Twitter and it was Barbra and not the actual account till a day later or something... Which I thought was weird. I don’t know.
And announced for weeks in advance. Should’ve listened
RT is really REALLY bad at advertising/marketing. It's honestly kind of baffling. Like they will literally drop entire series with no trailer/announcement out of nowhere (sup Nomad of Nowhere) and sometimes they'll go multiple seasons of a show without even telling what it even is (Hey there Free Play). You basically have to follow every single RT member on Twitter, their subreddit, AND their site blogs to keep up to date on what they have coming up.
3 minutes and 45 seconds into this and Burnie is dropping knowledge. Thank you, Rooster Teeth.

I started watching late 2006 after the anouncement of Halo 3. I was 8 years old watching Red Vs Blue. Now i am 21.
Why doesn't Burnie like intros? If they stop, one day someone's gonna start listening and they'll have no idea who's who for a few episodes
They say each other's names 100 times per podcast, i'm sure they'll be fine.

Burnie forgets that a lot of people are audio only and most can't immediately tell when it's Ellie, Ashley, Bethany, Mariel, Becca, Chris, Miles, Matt, Kerry, Adam, Geoff, Brandon, Chad, Jon, Nick, Blaine, or the many other guests they have besides the usual Gus, Burnie, Gav and Barb
After 500 of them I would be tired of doing it to for anyone other than guests or people who aren't weekly appearances

It is toothpaste, for a while there was a judicial case about how microplastic was kinda ruining our bodies. So now, most countries don't allow toothpaste to have those glittery thingies on them

I remember watching RvB season 1 in 2003 or 2004, and for the life of me cant remember what site I used to watch it. It was a site similar to youtube but not as popular at the time. Been hooked, since then and after 15+ years have never met ANY of them.
To be fair to Burnie they changes the SAT format in 2016. There' are like 20 less questions and there is no penalty for wrong guesses.
I remember being at the "Ask the CEO" panel last year and forgetting that MySpace existed for the longest time. Also the fact that there was a Hooters Airline.

the reasoning that people are less likely to jump into the podcasts if theres a giant number in the title is idiotic. there have been times when i wanted to watch more episodes but i dont know which one was last and i want to watch them in sequential order; they really should change this

@@vikings540 just because something is still possible doesnt mean its not annoying and inconvenient, especially when it used to be waaayy easier. I could just look at the title and know which episode i wanted to watch. Now i have to click each prospective video and determine which episode it is? (I know, still not that difficult to do but its a needless change that complicates the process)
Although I think they should have the numbers their logic isn't idiotic. People definitely are intimidated by large episode numbers as they feel they have something to catch up on.

Thor faced Thanos and his army without any weapon and got destroyed. Ragnarok was about his strength in himself but he needed more. Even in Ragnarok, Thor wasn't strong enough to beat his sister. But terms of messaging I agree that Thor's character path is very different between the two movies.
I thought that when they were talking about how nobody remembers any character from Avatar, they were gonna mention Jacksfilms but turns out it was just an employee in RT who mentioned it (who also probably watched Jacksfilms' video).
I think Gavin was right about Grifball being made in 2007. I feel like I remember seeing Grifball teams from back then. Just to make sure I wasn't misremembering, I searched Grifball, and its fandom wiki page seems to suggest it started in 2007 based on a quote from Burnie about the game's origins

How does no one in that studio watch The Expanse? It is an amazing series and is absolutely worth watching. Literally one of the best shows right now. I feel like it goes a little unnoticed but if you're a fan of SciFi you have to watch it. I really can't praise it enough and I'm a little sad everyone gave Burnie a bit of a blank stare when he asked who watches it. WATCH IT. You won't regret it.

The Glitter is used by the US military in part of their Chaff, the projectiles that fire out the back off planes to prevent a heat seeking missile from hitting the plane. There is no other idea that would have the money or need for that much glitter and the need for secrecy on it.

Here in Louisiana, the legal age is 18, can't drink until 21.
The biggest buyer of glitter is probably car paint. Most car paint is metallic and there's a lot of cars and a lot paint is needed to paint a car. Especially when you realize a car has like 8 coats of paint on it.
