Loved this video! This is one of my favourite types of video that you make and I will do that route for sure one day now that I have seen it! I saw the signs last time I was there but did not venture down! Thanks for showing us the beautiful hiking route! Stunning scenery! Loved the cat street art! The water was so astonishingly aqua blue in the sun! If I win the lottery I will be sure to visit on my super yacht! I am thinking that you must have had to hike UP again after making this!!
What a super video, I had never thought of walking down to Cala Deia, the walk & destination look fantastic. You are right to point out the importance of correct footwear.
Cala Deia is like the emperors new clothes, it’s definitely not a beach it’s very small and in summer it’s really really crowded, the restaurant is worth the walk but you’ll not get out for less than €100 which is expensive for a beach bar. Mallorca has some beautiful beaches this is not one of them, I just wish some TH-camr or instagramer would speak the truth about it.
Wow, well that is your opinion. I love the water here. Cold, clear and refreshing. I love the walk down too from the town. But I won't be visiting in July (I have said it'll be busy). A cheaper meal can be had in Can Llluch. Sorry this video wasn't to your liking!

It's definitely a lovely part of the island, and walking this route is so much less stressful than driving. Especially in the Summer!

My issue with this hike is that the parking lot in Deia is 2 hours max, I believe. I feel I wouldn't have enough time for the hike, swim and eat there
Park on the entrance or exit of Deia (ie. not in the car parks) but on the side of the road. Or take the bus and avoid parking fees.
Very informative! Did I see a car park at the very beginning of the hike down? Right before the gate.
You did, but that belongs ot the Hotel des Puig.. there is parking on the roadside and in the car parks in the village.
