You were so wrong for not playing the second song CJ Risolve played at his audition that was more prepared (he mentioned it on his social media). Then you didn’t even show his Hollywood week performance and just dropped him like we weren’t supposed to notice. It’s things like this that make me not want to watch the show anymore. He’s everything an American Idol contestant is supposed to be, talented and original. Yet you hyper focus on showing off his bus and drop him from the show immediately afterwards while simultaneously “forgetting” to show his best performances? I’m going to assume that the producers didn’t want him getting in the way of their predetermined winner.
Going to be honest with you that audition was absolutely amazing in my opinion! I think although it wasn’t a song he was prepared for, he sounded amazing and killed it with an original song he wrote the day before.

They need to stop allowing original songs on the show. They should just have an original song theme week to showcase that skill. The most successful past idols did not do original songs. It can show artistry but the show should be about finding a star, not about finding a songwriter.
