There are two documents that reveal a lot about who we are, the calendar and the checkbook. These reveal two precious resources we have, time and money. The Church is turning more into becoming consumers than stewards.
People are spending money on things they don’t need with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t even like. The checkbook tells us who we worship and what we worship. Tithes are your “thank you note” to God.

I can testify to this. I am a teacher. I get paid once per month. A couple years ago, I would get my check, and all but $200 would be left after paying bills to live on for the whole rest of the month. I started giving faithfully to two ministries doing God's will and work -- starting with just $50-$100 but giving faithfully and working up closer to 10% -- and now I'm SAVING $500 per month and still have $700+ left over. I don't know how God does the math, but He does.
OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS SO TRUE WE ALL NEED TO HEAR THIS FOR GOD! DOES TAKE CARE OF US WHEN WE TITHE I AM LIVING PROOF!! ♥
