- Let's Play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with @ZeldaMaster and @Zeltik! Join us as we revisit our first adventure ever, in the first 3D version of the Kingdom of Hyrule. This is the game that started it all for us, and the one that splits the Zelda Timeline!
We take on Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly in order to find Princess Ruto. Doing so obtains Link the Zora's Sapphire. Now with all 3 Spiritual Stones, Princess Zelda awaits!

Welcome back Zeldudes! I was getting a little nervous since it’s been a few days but it’s good to see that you are sticking with it. Your videos deserve way more views. Once Link turns into an adult that’s when the game turns completely around and we are almost there. I personally can’t wait for the Water Temple.
You can also soft-lock yaself if you don't have the scarecrow song before you turn into an adult

@@UltimateTobiOnce you beat the first adult dungeon, you can return to the Temple of Time and put the Master Sword back in the pedestal which will return you back seven years

This is just something I came up with but maybe the reason the Goron needs to be stopped under the tunnel is because otherwise you could get a bomb bag before completing Dodongo's Cavern
I actually have the original 1.0 cartridge of this game for N64. It’s one of my make prized possessions. Very cool to own it. And it’s not something I got later on in life either. It was the original copy I’ve always had since I was a kid.

Actually, in Link’s dream at the start of the game, you can see Zelda and Impa riding on the horse. The closeup on Zelda’s face is even there. What isn’t there is the ocarina being thrown in the moat and obviously the dialogue boxes.

Waiting in suspense for the continuation of this series! Also - would it be possible for you to read the text out loud, from the dialogue? I know random NPCs aren't the most interesting all the time, but I mostly listen to the episodes so I love hearing everything!

I always did the bottle glitch with my deku nuts. The whole game can be beaten without using a single deku nut, and the extra bottle is much more handy
I'm going to have to hard disagree with your take on Farore's Wind. It absolutely comes in clutch in the Water Temple. Set it at the water level raising places and it saves so much backtracking. Same thing if you get somewhere and don't have the key. Set the warp, track down the key and you're instantly back on track without retracing the whole dungeon.

2 quick ways to exit Deku tree: 1) Go through the boss room and take the portal (good for let's plays). 2) Save and quit, then start back up and you are at the beginning of the dungeon.

54:06 I learned how you can cheese this. Go inside the grave that has the hylian shield and dig there. If you don’t get it keep going in and out till you do. You did it but you can keep that in mind for next time.

I've known that thing about Impa and the Deku nut flash for years.
49:10 what might help with that is changing the switch settings to “limited range” in the TV settings, which you can find in the settings of the switch. Or, maybe the capture card needs to be set to capture full color or something. But hopefully one of those would help, that seems way too dark lol
@Zeldudes Just so you know for next time you play this game, you can stun the Big Octorok from the front with the boomerang, then after he’s stunned he’ll spin around and randomly change direction. No need to get hit!
17:47 Well, I think octoroks are kinda cool sometimes. They're usually very weak enemies but they can also be pretty powerful when you're on your last heart and they jump up to surprise you. Never underestimate an octorok ;) I even got one tattooed on my ribs that has a mole next to it as its bullet.

To aim the Boomerang, use the tip of Link's Hat
Ferorer's Wind is generally used in the Forest temple to quickly get back to the twisted room so you can quickly untwist it.

I think the whole "cows being in places they shouldn't be" thing is just a running gag in Ocarina of Time, proven further that you can get one in Link's house doing a certain minigame.
That aside, Barinade is a gruesome boss fight, regardless of what version of the game you fight it in. Damn thing gave me nightmares as a kid. E for everyone my ass.
It's crazy that the game got an E for everyone rating after the Shadow Temple

I actually like Jabu-Jabu. The stomach thing is gross, but the idea of a living puzzle is amazing, and I like fighting Barinade.
You could use Farore's Wind to get out of the Bottom of the Well quickly when we get there!

Weird thing I noticed: when Ruto grabs the Stone, it plays the acquisition sound even though it’s in Link’s perspective. So does that mean the collection sound is canon in-universe?
It is funny how later on, in the Water Temple, Ruto tells Link that he is her husband and he is shocked. Can't blame him, I dunno about marrying a fish lady. Really enjoying this playthrough, love coming back to amazing games like this one! Btw, did you guys know if you spam tap the B button on the controller, Link will swim quicker? Don't know if this is only in the 3DS version, or if it is in the N64 version as well.

This means "Don't tell everyone". Someone in the Zelda series often says this phrase at least once. Ruto changed "everyone" into "my father", and said that line.
While this isnt my favorite dungeon (i dont like having to fight monsters inside of a fish), im very excited to see things ramp up with Link as an adult
You still didnt get the heart piece from the spinning goron vase in goron city. I thought you would when you remembered the bomb bag but you ended up just leaving.

Oh, the Zora wives crafting tunics for their husbands goes back to Twilight Princess.

For some reason Twilight Princess is the only game in the series without Octoroks
