As a former Academy employee it was always a little day dream of mine to see how one of these boats turned out all decked out. Glad I finally got to see it! Thanks for the great series!

Y'all reminded me of all the times as a kid, my grandfather took me out Speck (Crappie) fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Great times and memories such a fun little fish can create. Thank you.

You should keep doing these shows at least more saltwater fishing. You don’t see many small boats in saltwater

What ever happened to this boat? I can give it a place to roam free and live out its days near KY Lake, Lake Barkley, Tennessee River, Cumberland River, Ohio River, Mississippi River. I mean, after the star treatment, a little TLC can help it age gracefully.
I think their looking for a good home to send the boat to where it'll be fed and loved and most importantly a big pen to roam free in to live out it's days

I just love how academy thinks people have 8k plus to drop on a boat during a pandemic when most people are struggling to just pay the bills not to mention I haven't seen the host wearing a life jacket in the boat while it was moving... Also I find it extremely annoying that every episode start with hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise
To be completely honest
I bought my 10 ft Jon boat new for 525.25 and decked it out the way I wanted it for an additional 700 give or take few dollars granted I wouldn't go in the river or the ocean but I've got plenty of big lakes and creeks to fish

If I could rate zero I would, I purchased a gun from them on Friday and went to test it out Saturday. When testing I ran 1 mag and 5 rounds into the second mag the upper had a failure causing the gun to light primer strike and for parts of the gun to fall from the inside. Luckily I kept it pointed down range because the case went off a few seconds later. Because they basically could care less about you once they have your money they will not take the gun back and think it's ok to make you try to go through the manufacturer. I don't want this or any other gun from this manufacturer considering it's pretty dangerous for parts to just fall out when shooting. I will never purchase anything from a store that doesn't try to have your back and could easily send this back and refund the customer if they cared.
It's not academy's fault! They dont have gunsmiths working for them and you are better off getting into the manufacturers ass then some poor guy just working the counter! Most places wont refund or exchange guns anyways! The liability is on the manufacturers and not academy's fault at all! I know it's a pain in the ass but it really does make sense!
I bet they would easily take back a fishing rod, clothes, shoes, anything except guns! Bass pro/cabelas wont do it either
