Not that I think that I'm better than anyone, but I would like to share with you all what I do prior to boiling the potatoes. What I do is I first wash them, and score them all the way around several times; once around the middle of the potato, then, from the very top to the very bottom from back to front, and all away around the opposite end from the sides starting from the very top to the bottom. As soon as they are through boiling, I removed them from the water and shock them by dunking them into an ice cold water bowl with ice. At which point you could just squeeze the peel right off of them much like removing an eggshell from a hard boiled egg.
