- Epic Mickey is a 2010 Wii exclusive platformer. Mickey Mouse accidentally damages Yen Sid's world for forgotten characters and is forced to fixed it using a magic paint bush. This game featured the first appearance of Mickey and Oswald together.

The fact that you painted all the pipes before the thinner rise don the FIRST TRY. That shit is the reason I have anxiety!!!

Haha well I'm going to do epic mickey 2 next quarter so on my upcoming Q2 2017 Longplays video im posting late March, I'm going to ask should I use paint or thinner for the boss fights. Whichever gets the most I will do.

@@MutchGames Well, I see it as quote-unquote canon where in Mickey used Paint to befriend Petetronic and the Doc (even with Thinner, the Doc IS still alive by the second game) and killed Hook and the Clock Tower (and the Shadow Blot) with Thinner.

The ending was almost truly perfect, only Goofy and the unbefriended phantom blot were..
Somehow missing.
Still, the rest truly touched me!

Does that ending imply that Mickey still has part of the Blot in him? If it does, then that's actually kind of terrifying.

I'm aware, I played it myself. I don't fully remember the plot of the second game, it's been a long while since I played it, but I'm pretty sure that the Blot doesn't have any part in it.
Nicole Riso just the recovery from the blot is where the story takes place. The first game was 100times better in my opinion

mickey started the entire plot to this game just by accidentally spilling paint and thinner on a magical piece of paper
Somebody needs to tell poor Oswald that Walt Disney didn’t forget about him. Universal Studios stole the rights to Oswald from Walt!
Actually they didn't steal the rights from Disney. He made the character for Mitz's company while working under Mitz. Therefore Mitz owned the rights and was able to sell them to universal and remove walt from projects regarding the character. Was it messed up....sure....but nothing was actually stolen.
@@MutchGames So maybe not legally stealing, but in a “greedy businessman” kind of stealing.
@@365ral walt was paid to create the product for the company. So no business stealing happened either. That's why when he made the walt Disney company he owned all the characters Disney animators made.

You know after everything that Mickey did in this game, I'm glad that Yen Sid made him his apprentice. He deserved it for setting everything he had done wrong right.
Yeah. I'm glad Mickey set things right. Especially how he helped Oswald get his gal back. Epic Mickey was just such a great game. I loved how they put so much of Disney's history into it.
This game actually introduced me to Oswald and got me to learn about the toon's history with Disney.
Michigo Sinister that doesn't surprise me since it was the first time disney used him since they bought him back from universal. the game is also the first time Oswald talks.
I'm just glad Oswald's home. Now that he is home, maybe he could become less of a forgotten toon.
Michigo Sinister he did get a great popularity boost. I doubt he will. He's become a part of California adventures.
Think about it. You spend nearly the entire game trying to fix the destruction put on wasteland, repainting a haunted world.
You fight a giant creature that looks like the blot, but it isn’t. The real blot was locked up in a giant soda bottle until Oswald accidentally
Released it. This climax is emotional in many ways that I’m not going to demonstrate.
And the worst thing is that you are responsible for this disaster.
But instead of deny it, you chose to fix the mess you made, that makes you a responsible and honorable person, showing that instead of running away from trouble, you choose to face it.
Some of these levels just give me anxiety lol, nice game tho

I'm so planning on buying this game, there's never any good games to play on Wii as everything has been upgraded to wii u or the switch, but I'm excited to finally play a game that interests me on the wii
This is by far my favorite Wii game. I 100% recommend. I actually got it for 3 bucks around 3-4 years ago so it's really cheap as well. Feel free to ask about other game recommendations if you ever want to. I play a lot for the channel and always give my honest opinion on them.

I have no clue how much a pal version costs. Some other cheap but fun lesser known wii games I've done on my channel are ghost squad, punch-out!!, rayman raving rabbids, target terror, wario ware smooth moves (this is probably the most known out of these).

I've seen and played a lot of Mickey Mouse games over the years. Although some of the past games were pretty good, this is easily the best one. And, it's just about the only one that's reasonably long; the others were pretty short.

I can see why. But, if there's one thing I wouldn't have minded, I would've liked them to give Mickey, Oswald, and the other cartoon characters full dialogue. It's a minor point, but that would've been nice.

I had this problem twice in my longplay. There was a certain in game noise or pitch that the el gato recorder for some reason couldn't handle. I faced a similar problem when I heard the same pitch when doing my lego city undercover wii u longplay. All that happened in that section was getting rid of a single tentacle and making to to the treasure chest.
