This was a very good video, the police should see this video for what it really is. If it was not the guys bike he would not know the combination to the lock on it which he certainly did when he finally opened it up! A crime was stopped, the rightful owner did not back down, and it was proved the bike did belong to him and his daughter. This is why it is very important to know how to hold your ground no matter what situation you're in. If you're in the right then stay in the right.

Those locks are so easy to pick. Put tension on cable and start moving closest tumbler. We it is found it will slip just a bit. mover to the next until all 4 digits are found. 15 minutes for a first timers 3 min for anyone who has done it at least once. Props to Dad for standing up and getting his bike back.
Well done dad!
The criminal thing here are his glasses
Calls him violent.....starts being violent...
The bike drama is legendary Venice.
I lived in the Venice Canals once upon a time.
Thank you for the tour of my old home town.
That safe team member says it’s not that serious to the guy who got his bike stolen!
I wouldnt want to spend any time where there is a "safe team" Cali is going downhill fast
This guy is the DAD of Dad's!!
Yes..the kind who teaches his daughter to be racist, hateful and to vote for a rapist. My kind of Dad!
Lmao. A thief calls someone a Trumper as an insult? Typical....
Salute sir👌
I loved that everyone laughed at the thief as he went away yelling.
just brought at a garage sale yesterday now i'm selling it for 60$
What a weird lock combo. 💅💅💅
OMG the spandex... and the glasses...
The world has gone insane. The guy who is violent keeps saying ‘you’re violent’. The guys code is, ‘do me’.
what the heck is a safe team ?
They keep you safe while violence goes around and yell out "safe" when the baseball goes and hits the batter then the police come with bear spray and douse the children hoping they don't grow up to be cowboys
Someone that stands around and does nothing
He’s lucky the bike was still intact. Where I live someone locked up their bike and the next day it was just the frame still locked up. They took the wheels, gears, brakes, handle bar and seat.
Dude is alright ! Get your bike back ! And I totally agree with him 100% and he's got a case ! That's how it should be.
They are both awful people
2:00 his daughter's lock combo "Do Me" hahaha 😆
This was a very good video, the police should see this video for what it really is. If it was not the guys bike he would not know the combination to the lock on it which he certainly did when he finally opened it up!
A crime was stopped, the rightful owner did not back down, and it was proved the bike did belong to him and his daughter.
This is why it is very important to know how to hold your ground no matter what situation you're in. If you're in the right then stay in the right.
When the guy yelled, “get a fucking job pal” and then everyone laughed, it was very eerie to me. I’ve lived in NYC my whole life and people do not give a fuck about what’s going on anywhere. I think this goes to show how much better quality of life is in Venice or really anywhere in Cali for that matter. People are way more open and chill in Cali because of the nice weather and scenery all the time whereas in NYC, especially when it gets cold, nobody will speak to or want to have anything to do with you.
He knew the code.
Now we all do.
There are various types of AirTag mounts you can get to hide on the bike. Some have security screws that use a special tool to remove. I have them on both my bikes.
Looks like the clean up has worked though. The boardwalk looks good. Before the cleanup his daughter would have probably had some problems going down there.
Right..
yes thanks to the former LA county sherrif because Newsom and Venice's mayor wouldn't do a damn thing.
@@druiz607 obviously don't know much about how things get done in Ca.
@@druiz607 I'm actually embarrassed for you because you believe that a Sheriff who is involved in coverups, doesn't listen to the people he works for(the people of LA county) and has known gang affiliates working in the Sheriffs Department...and that is a fact...is going to have any positive help for the homeless? Not at all. So while you play make believe I am going to continue speaking out not only for the homeless but against gangs in police departments.
@@druiz607 right...not. I think people are forgetting there was a pandemic. Nobody wanted to give the homeless a place to stay. The Sheriff actually did nil ..he just continued to look the other way while his associates committed crime after crime. He is a horrible man. At least Newsom is working hard not only to help low income in Ca but in the country. You really need to look up his accomplishments. I bet some of the things he has pushed through have helped you in one way or another. Remember...this isn't a football game where red vs blue...it's our lives. I don't get why people want to put people in office who will make their lives harder 🤔 Gets me every time.
These days I won't lock my bike and walk out of sight of it. Where I go, it goes.
i'm not sure why his daughter would leave the bike and not walk it home, and he said they were together but somehow he didn't seem to know she was leaving the bike, and he approved of the idea of leaving an unlocked bike with all those homeless people around. The lock must have been left in the basket and not on the bike. Some of the story makes no sense, does he have pics of his daughter on the bike?
@jazziez6467 I felt bad for the guy that got his bike back until he went into his MAGA speech, then it made me wish he hadn't got it back.
@@CoopyKat What about the pos bike thief that brought up the maga thing in the first place? Gettin all loud and aggressive, making an ass out of himself. Why did he suddenly make this political? But you're all - f**k that guy (that got his bike back) saying all that stuff I don't agree with. Well, to that, I say: Stay off the interwebs with your doofy comments and tell ur daddy to take his meds! 😄
True@@CoopyKat
SOME OF US don't live in areas where we know to think like that.
Most likely his daughter got drunk at a bar, went home with some friends and totally forgot about the bike. Dad looks to be wearing his mother's sunglasses and a discount cycling kit. Yeah, and the MAGA speech, WTF was that necessary?
Locks keep honest people in check.
And to think I did all that with my socks on. 😆
Don’t be a Trumper…that’s disgusting.
Both the owner and the thief are suspect.
I'm all in for the Bike Dad...
But must say that Bike Dad shouldn't be wearing those bike shorts...Just sayin'😮
There is nothing wrong with his shorts......just saying
@@ligiv It's just a rather startling choice for a beer drinking body.
There are so many bikes out there people just give away. I just picked up one on a free site and it will be fixed up and donated to a needy family. No one should be stealing bikes.
The dude who had the bike probably didn't actually steal it like he said, but it was still stolen property. That's why you have to be real careful buying items from individuals giving you a great deal on something that's obviously worth way more than what you're paying. As they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Than again, maybe he did steal it, who knows. You really can't trust anybody these days, regardless of status, race, religious/political affiliation, et cetera. You know someone is lying when they say "I never lie."
That bike isn't worth squat, looks like a Walmart special.
@marcuslinton310 got a grant that it's a Walmart special but it's not the matter of what it's worth it's the principle of the thing.
@@garyquail4996 No S, sherlock. I was answering the idea that somebody was selling an expensive bike for cheap which should appear suspicious. No, it was a cheap bike being sold for cheap. It really wouldn't draw that much attention.
@marcuslinton310 you're wrong on that one actually it drew attention to the guy who was riding around with his daughter and he saw the bike plain and simple in plain sight with a very sketchy looking character but just remember this the criminals can get away with just about anything and everything and nice people like me can't have nice things whether it be inexpensive or very expensive so just remember that I'm glad the guy confronted that sketchy character I would have done the very same thing.
@@garyquail4996 No, attention wasn't drawn due to the expense of the bike, the owner clearly saw and recognized his daughters bike, DUH!
Saying he bought a bike three days ago and he’s trying to sell it already?
He called his daughter to come and pick up the bike and ended up showing up with another bike😂
I’m the mom and I gave her my bike two days ago because her bike was stolen. It’s all legit! That was her bike. And she left it because something was wrong with it. She did lock it up.
Cool, hey what's it like being married to a trump cult guy? @@juliecastle7039
all was good, untill the victim brought politics into it lol... but in anycase.. how the dude bought the bike from a garage sale for $60 and 2 days later sell it for $60 LOL... cmon man, i was born at night but not last night!
Dudes confidence was through the roof after that
Safe team ??
Just stand there getting in the way 😂
Standing up to a bike thief for his daughter , What a low down “Trumper ! “ That sums up everything in our Country today .
Most people don't buy a bike 2-3 days ago, only to sell it for only $60. by taking it to public place and announcing a bike for sale. Glad the rightful owner go their bike back. 👍🏻Good on the father for taking back what belongs to his daughter.
how do you buy a bike 3 days ago that went missing 2 days ago?
If this wasn't on video, his story would've evolved into a Jon Wick film from this guy 😂
Don't just leave a bike locked and walk home and think, "I'll come back tomorrow". Sorry, but that was not a smart decision to do that. Glad you got the bike back though.
He Said that he bought the bike 3 days ago at a yard sale and now he's trying to sell it. Yup he's guilty 100% percent.
He calls him a “Trumper” like that’s supposed to be some kind of insult 😂
lol exactly. He steals a girls bike and then tries to sell it gets caught and then acts like an idiot
It's amazing how Rockstar recreated the boardwalk in GTA V. This is like a live version of the game.
Props to dad for getting his girl's bike back.
No griwn man should wear bike shorts.
Guys daughters bike lock combo is Do Me.
He had me until he brought Trump into this. Thats bullshit
"I know the combo, right, it's DO ME"
"How did he get the bike unlocked? I don't know all of the particulars."
Safe team LOL California is such a joke.
I luv how the cops show up and act like they’re gonna do something
