@@eithneinx2417 if you have time get the boat from Rhodes Town to Karpathos 3 hours takes you to Pigadia the port town. Then go to amoopi beach, this small island has the best beaches in the whole of Greece. See .my video on TH-cam Karpathos 2020 4k HDR. You can stay in Pigadia cheap for 1 night around 20 euros then return back to Rhodes Town the following day, trust .e its worth it. Good luck 👍

Do you know the name of any boat company’s to book with directly that will take me to the island. I’m definitely going to try visit there when I go over. @@eithneinx2417 Hi, if you go the ports in Rhodes Town their's 2 of them then you can buy the tickets there also their's plenty of boat travel shops close th the ports where you can also buy a ticket. You can also fly from Rhodes to Karpathos quite cheap, if you get to Karpathos the main places to visit are diafani ,olympos, apella, kirk panagia, achata, aperi, makri ammoopi, minutes, diakoftis, agios nikolaos, finish, gialou chorale. You will need to rent a scooter.

Lived and worked in Rhodes for 5 summers and love the place! Cant wait for Covid restrictions to be over so can go back! I reccomend anyone that goes to hire a quad bike and go through the mountains from ialyssoss to Lindos! Love it!

Heading to Rhodes for the first time next August. I've been to Crete, Corfu, Paxos, Antipaxos & Kefalonia in the past so can't wait to see what this island has to offer & how it compares to the other islands I've been.
@@mattyy101 thing is with Greece it's not just the great places, great food etc it's also the great people. Everytime I've been they've always made you feel welcome & comfortable. I can't fault Greece or its islands in any way. It always feels like a home from home.
Hey, did you have trouble getting your Mavic Pro thru airport security there? And did you need any additional licenses or administrations? I'm going there this August and I've read up about the ridiculous laws concerning drones in Greece. Cheers!
Pierre Petit thanks a ton! Online it stated a lot of stuff about needing to ask for permission or register the drone in order to be allowed to fly it. But I guess you didn't do any of that? Makes life easier :)

Official Your-D absolutely no problems at all. Just make sure you carry all as hand luggage also your batteries. Have fun!
