Michaels is my fav. I love in-store shopping because I need to see easily the size, color, amount, etc. I also love Goodwill, it's amazing what you can find there -- paper, mats, blades, blanks, etc.

I have a Hobby Lobby within a mile of my house, I just got back! I think I go there 2-3 times a week. I do like Michael's and Joann's has some good sales and coupons.

On my ceramic coasters, I add a cork bottom. I buy the adhesive cork sheets on Amazon and use my maker to cut the circles.
What do you use to attach them, glue gun etc?
I'm in the UK and like to shop in Hobbycraft (I think probably similar to Hobby Lobby in the US). Love your videos Bethany!
My favourite place is hobbycraft in the Uk and if I can’t find it there I go to Amazon! And I love infusible ink!!!!

I ordered the cork coaster back from Amazon and they adhere nicely it also allows you to stamp handmade by and add your name. I added this after cooling🤭
Those came out so good. I have used the infusible ink, but only on a t-shirt, which came out great as well. Thank you. I’m a sewist, and quilter, so I must make these.
I shop on Amazon, Hobby Lobby and Walmart. Mostly Amazon since they deliver to the door. Very easy shopping. Love the coasters.

Depends on what I'm shopping for. Vinyl I shop at Expressions Vinyl and 431 Vinyl. Other than that I shop at Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, Joann's and Dollar Tree. Occassionally other places depending on what I want.
LOVED the coasters. I HAVE to get me somenof that design with the blue. It is sooo pretty. Love the other colors too. Guess I'm going shopping for more vinyl...again. LOL
I have 2 of each packs of the coasters and still have no clue what to put on them. Other than for my in-laws.

My craft go to has always been Michaels, but since the pandemic I’ve also shopped quite a bit at Joann’s since they have curb service. Love these coasters! I have a set and also that pretty floral pattern. Love how it turned out - can’t wait to do something with mine now!
I love those! I still haven’t been brave enough to try infusible ink yet. Hobby Lobby is my favorite craft store. Our Michael’s went out of business, but even before that, I usually went to Hobby Lobby.

I just ordered my coasters today. I am hoping to actually make ornaments for my daughter's tree. I have a couple of ideas about the actual hanging of them. I am planning on looking for a Rainbow Bridge or Shitzu for the image as she lost her 2 dogs in a span of a few months. They were 16 and 13. She had bought me a beautiful ornament the year my pug died and I want to do something like this for a tribute to her dogs. Hope I can do it!
I’ve been wondering how to do infusible ink. It’s beautiful. My favorite is probably Hobby Lobby because there’s so much to find and look at but I love Michael’s.
Oh Bethany! You read my mind! I want to do some infusible ink coasters for one of my daughters home! I was wondering if I could only use certain designs to use infusible ink though! I am so happy to see that I can use my buffalo plaid and do something like snowflakes! Since the pandemic, I have only shopped amazon, cricut and michaels online!
Can I use a regular iron for my infusible ink? I don’t have an easy press yet? Either for t shirts or coasters. Thanks again for a great tutorial!! You explain everything so clearly!!
A regular iron does not achieve the high or even temperature required to get a successful transfer, which is why a heat press is used for Infusible Ink. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them. I have a question regarding coasters. Can I use a convection oven instead of a press? I live in a country where cricut products are not sold. I ordered a mug press and had to return it because cricut has a policy against registration of heat presses outside of the country in quick they were bought. I have ordered some coaster blanks but am not sure how to proceed?
I tend to shop Amazon, Michael's, Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's in this order.
Wondering if you can have the pattern side up also - before putting heat press on? I followed your instructions exactly and they weren’t quite as brilliant. I re-heated and they were better.
Per Cricut's instructions for the ceramic coasters, they are supposed to be layered this way. Hope yours turned out!

Such a cute idea Bethany, thanks again. I do have a question on those coasters, when using and they get moisture from the drink (Like Water), will it ruin the infusible in that is on the coasters? Also, I must say I do like Hobby Lobby.. I like them all, but seems like Joann Fabrics is always low on things. I like Michaels too.... so hard to determine which is the best! I like Cricut, but don't like paying the shipping!

I’m so new at this I’m trying to do the coaster . I’m selecting the sewing machine and then the the circle it highlights one or the other not both. What am I doing wrong
I hold down the Shift or Command button on my Mac keyboard to select more than one layer at once!

Answer: I have a Joannes, Michael’s and hobby lobby within 10 minutes of my house and I used to shop all of them until the pandemic. Then I learned to shop online. When I’m in the stores, I tend to buy more than I need because it’s there in front of me. Now, when I go online, I’m not tempted. I find what I’m looking for, pay for it and check out. Questions: can you use contour on any design? Did you really hot press those coasters upside down? If you were going to do coasters to sell at a craft show, are there any themes you would use more than others? Thanks.
Yes, the ceramic circle coaster process is just as demonstrated and you can refer to the heat guide for the stacking order! As for contouring, you cannot contour any image. The contour button will be available when the image can be contoured.
Amazon or Michael's. Our area supports THREE Walmarts!! Yet, Hobby Lobby closed their local store here. 😥 I couldn't believe it! Yet, their location was odd and definitely off the beaten path. Very disappointing!
