Purple (almost) drives a "Toffee Apple"........ Class 31's seem to be held in some affection. Indeed my first model railway loco as a kid was a Triang-Hornby Class 31 in the then new BR blue livery.
Hard to believe this quaint little line is only 1½ miles. The amount of difference in the scenery makes it feel as if its at least 3 or 4 miles. I love all the signals and the fact that you've got quite a big selection of locomotives. I suppose next time will it be the class 47 cab ride ha ha 😂😂 Really enjoyed watching and it seems like you really enjoyed your day. I might be seeing the Blue Pullman HST tomorrow 😊🎉
enjoyed our trips to this railway and walked the full length too.

Shame I couldn't be there to wind you up for the day matey! We'll get you on a proper footplate ride on No. 4 next ;)

A Brush 2. An instantly forgettable loco on British rail, a lovely little loco in preservation.
