I have akai tape deck in 90' black color sir👍🇮🇩
@andreasbianconeri879 Those black Akai tape decks were top of the line decks, my friend. Some models in Japan were under the name A&D, yet still Akai.
I was waiting for sound quality display. 😊
@kopanski2025 This deck in particular sounds stunning. Near to an open reel deck. I can't play it on youtube as we all have to respect copyrights.
I would have thought that magnetic information printed on metal would have been the first technology.
@andrewdean6963 Metal tape is a Type IV tape formulation. Similarly, Type I and Type II had their type of tape formulations. For some reason, Type III didn't even kick off. Even the newer cassette decks from the 90s didn't handle Type III tapes :)
