Thank you guys so much for this video. I loved how the information was compiled and the aerial shots looked beautiful too. Last week I went to Alexander springs and swam around the boiler with crappy goggles and was inspired to get a full set. Can't wait to check these out.
I noticed you went to Salt Springs and then Alexander, but you passed right by a great snorkeling spring, and that's Silver Glen. The main spring pumps out water at an angle, so you don't have to fight the current to get to the bottom. There's also a TON of fish swimming in the current, the biggest being the striped bass that swim up the short run from nearby Lake George.
I wish juniper and Alexander springs in Ocala forest had campsites with electricity I sleep on my suv with a screened pop up tent just outside but i like to have my portable ac to sleep and i need to plug it in 😢
Rock Springs in Apopka has a very shallow spring run and very shallow “pools” where it would be super easy to chill without swimming. Check out my video on Rock Springs. I think it would be perfect.
Thank you for the terrific video! Do we have to be concerned about thefts these springs parks? Like when we leave our personal belongings like phones, car keys, change of clothes on the side while we're in the water?
Thank YOU. I’ve never had an issue. I usually lock my valuables in the car and then use a lock box I attach to the car for my car keys (so I don’t lose in the water). But every time I brought bag down to the water it’s been ok. I just try to either leave in the car or put in a waterproof bag and take with me. I hope that helps.
There are some alligators of course. If you see them, just leave them alone and they won’t mess with you. There are usually enough people at the springs, splashing and making noise, that they stay away.

I've been to the south three times in three years now and I saw a 3 foot baby (who leaped off his spot when I moved to take a photo) and a 12 footer on the side of the road in Savannah. So far that's been it. They're there but I'd say (not as a Florida native) it seems like they're a bit weary of people, but now you have ding dongs who are feeding them and want them to be snuggly and something they're not. So now some are not afraid of humans. Would you say that's about right AA?

I had no idea Florida has so many beautiful spots. I thought the theme parks were the main attractions! These places look amazing, and even better. I will add them to the family bucket list and start trip planning. It’s a long way from New Zealand and America is very expensive on our currency so these trips are once in a lifetime for us! This is great! I just bought a snorkel and already love the springs so I can't wait to use it! I've already been to Blue Springs and I plan to go tomorrow. I hope to go to Wekiwa on Thursday (tried to get in twice on a Saturday and it was full both times) and then maybe Alexander Springs on Friday if I have the energy!
@@artofadventurepascalemo All three days were amazing! Blue Springs was tougher to snorkel because it was my first time using it and the spring is pretty powerful! Still awesome though. Blue Springs is probably my favorite state park in Florida when you account for the tubing and manatees. Wekiwa was amazing! The singe spring vent kept me entertained for hours and I was better at the snorkel and got pretty far down. Alexander Springs was the best! Definitely deserves the number one spot. The spring was so big and with so much to look at I'm already telling my parents that they need to scuba there! HAHA
