For a Ohio spec'd dump truck it probably doesn't get any better than this. Virginia spec'd truck would be a little bit different. Our trucks are stretched out and the bodies are shorter. Our 6 axles have a 19 foot body and the the bridge length is 28-29ft. Like the cooling and heating of the seats, might need to have that whenever my next truck will be. 👍👍👍
I prefer a 13 or 18 speed but I can see the ultra shift trans as a learning aid tool to help new drivers gane confidence with all the things that a new driver must ingest and perfect moving a heavy large vehicle threw traffic learning use of air brakes many regulations plus all the different backing scenarios that a heavy duty transport driver must properly execute in their daily tour of duty my thinking is when a driver gets more proficient with everything they could come back in 8 months to a year and learn multi speed manual gearbox shifting at a more relaxed pace with more effective progress

I’m sure your hillbilly ass has experience with dump trucks where not talking about your trailer home you pull with your truck .

Going longer doesn't give us enough for it to make much sense up here. But we can spec a truck for any state when you're ready. :D

It definitely makes a lot of sense. I think that everyone should learn the manual, but if it was me, I'd end up picking the automated. :D
