Yeah, I noticed that move as well. It's a top engine move, but it takes Stockfish 11 on lichess a while to find it (depth 32 is when the engine evaluates it as best). Before depth 31, the engine doesn't like it. It's funny how humans can spot these ideas quicker than some engines.
He's talking about it in the context of moving his queen away (11:41, 14:03), which allows black Qxd4. If white's queen was still on d3 when Qxd4, white just takes back Qxd4 and is up a queen.

Particularly what light squares are you talking about? As you are trading bishops it doesnt give them any extra control over the light squares, and their knights are not in the position to exploit weaknesses. Removing the light squared bishop will always weaken your light squares, but whether they can actually exploit that is a different thing.

Yes, trading the bishops does weaken your light squares, but black has no way of exploiting that as one knight is stuck on the edge and the other is not developed. In positions where all your pawns are on dark squares, or in positions where you have a king position like his opponent obtained in the game, then trading bishops would be much more detrimental. In the event of this trade, Danya also opened the f file and activated his queen, preparing a future attack.

Great video, but one thing you do consistently in all your videos is refer to your opponent as he/him, almost in every video without (usually) any indication. It's a small criticism, but as the game is trying to encourage more female players, trying to be more inclusive and assuming less would be nice.

I think it's an attacking strategy, the black light square Bishop was gonna be a better defender than the white one is an attacker
