Thanks for explaining what happened to yesterday's post. I was scrathcing my head trying to find it. I came up with a few projects for the M12 cutoff tool and the $99 cost for the tool and the free battery from Milwaukee made it a must buy. I have two chargers for the M12 line so not having a charger is not an issue. I have plenty of tool bags and cases so I can easily store the tool. I purchased the Porter Cable brad nailer a few months ago along with the finish nailer from Home Depot. Prices were the same. I have had a Porter Cable nailer for many years and it served me well. Buying the new unit is a cheap way to get speare parts etc. I know Porter Cable has really downsized from their earlier presence and it is a shame they no longer make routers. They were the best. I always enjoy your postings. You always get a like from me. Keep up the good work!
Steve Perry is the GOAT, no doubt about it. I was born in 1971. I was 10 and just beginning to discover music for myself when Journey released their Escape album, featuring Don’t Stop Believing, Open Arms and Stone in Love. What a magical time to have grown up and been exposed to some of the greatest rock music, ever! I always appreciate your openness expressiveness and genuine enthusiasm for hearing many of these songs/artists for the first time. It is truly infectious! You show a great deal of respect for artists from widely varying backgrounds and musical genres while expertly showcasing the hows and why’s behind why these performers catch our ears, and the immense craft, technique and effort that goes into crafting an amazing performance. Thank you for choosing this to add to your repertoire of reaction videos! Perfect pairing of singer and song to showcase just what has made him so incredible and beloved by his fans. Keep up the great work!
😬 Ooops! Comment clearly meant for a different video! (The Charismatic Voice reaction to Steve Perry and Journey performing Faithfully.) Sorry-bout-dat, Chris! Tool Dealz are important too!!
The m12 inflator actually works really well, i use 2 4.0 amp batteries to re inflate my jeep gladiator tires after offroading. I go down to 15psi and it takes about 15-25 mins to air up all 4 of them after im done
I totally agree on the Milwaukee 8 inch hatchet, it is VERY over priced. It is probably one of the best and easily the most powerful versions of a 8 Inch hatchet but $250? is nuts normally its is $279 and that is totally nuts. I would say that $175 or under would be good. Plus it is very jumpy when up cutting. You can get the ryobi 8 Inch for $129 - $159 WITH a battery and charger and it is very nearly as good as the Milwaukee and the hand grip is more comfortable too.
Chris check out the Milwaukee socket and ratchet sets at HD!! Best one I see is a 99 pc that includes chrome set AND impact set for $150, down from $310! 😱
I bought the Ryobi ONE+ crown stapler instead of the Milwaukee. Check out the Project Farm video that tests them. I've used the Ryobi to put 9/16" staples through aluminum flashing into solid wood. Flush every time and no jams or bent staples.
so...today I purchased a m12 bandfile from home depot deal of the day and then emailed Milwaukee support to see if I could claim the rebate. ill let you all know what they say. it would be as you say a double dip as it comes with a free 2.5. maybe they are in a giving mood.
After 3 years of Home Depot running their bogo deals I don’t understand how people don’t get how it works. If it’s not a separate purchase you can’t return them separately.
I had already bought the cutoff tool on 1/4. I submitted the rebate and FYI they emailed me back saying it was denied because "This distributor is not a participating distributor for Milwaukee Tool E-Rebates." So Home Depot is not a participating vendor.
Re: yesterday's video, I have to give you credit for finding those. I definitely appreciated the post. I just wish Milwaukee wouldn't play these games with their marketing. You are right, though. Home Depot could be Automotive, or it could be Plumbing. Personally, I'm not taking the chance to buy any of the tools from yesterday's video because it would be my luck if it gets denied. I would love to hear about your experience from a couple of years ago or if anyone has had success getting this rebate.
hell ya bro I'd still keep yesterday's video public that Milwaukee deal is good a tad tricky i guess if u ain't familiar with tool companies websites, but its a good deal for sure
Well there was new info after I posted the video. A patreon member bought the cut off tool, tried to submit it immediately and was instantly denied. I'm happy the denial was instant so he could cancel his Home Depot order, so I'm going to keep it down. But how sleazy is that to not be specific BEFORE you make the purchase? Makita might have some rebates though I'll post on that soon.
Chris have you seen the new Metabo HPT 18V multitool. Looks like the grip/handle is improved but I think they got rid of the Auto feature; might make a good comparison video.
I need to use that link and claim my battery from Milwaukee so thank you. As for crown stapler, do you think the 12 crown stapler is better than variant the same gauge?
Chris, where do you sell the tools/batteries you don't need or want? I got the Milwaukee High Torque Impact Wrench with the 5Ah oil resistant battery for $219 at HD a few weeks ago (only 1 SKU so I can't return the battery). I'm looking to sell the battery.
Home Depot did NOT work with the Milwaukee Cut off-saw rebate Here's what I did and how I fixed it: 1. I bought the Cut off at Home Depot (Tool only) 2. I submitted my receipt for Milwaukee's review 3. I was denied and Milwaukee said, "This distributor is not a participating distributor for Milwaukee Tool E-Rebates." 4. I called Milwaukee's customer support and they said, Home Depot does their own E-Rebates and I had to call them 5. I called Home depot and inquired about the rebate, they did not recognize it How I fixed it: 6. I returned the Home Depot Cut off (Tool only) 7. I bought the same tool from Ace Hardware 8. I applied to Milwaukee again and my claim was accepted

a couple of good items on the pro special buy of the week at Home Depot

An actual winter prep video would be cool. Maybe not everything has to be on sale. Just stuff you see or use that you like

The Ryobi stapler is not too bad.
