    Great job 👏
The cling film method is worth a try too , it will give a more detailed result as it is more flexible and playable that the plastic bag .

Hiya, matey.Im no painter either.Whats worth trying next time you mask an area is to give it a quick clearcoat before spraying up to the masking tape.It stop the new paint bleeding/creeping under the masked bit.Have fun,its what its all about. Also,I think the marble effect is usually done with black base then white or silver over the top. This is then attacked with a placcy bag.Over the top of this you put on the colour of choice in candy.Whatever.All the best.

Ah i like what your sayinh, that way the first coat that bleeds so to speak is clear, but it then seals the line between the base coat and the masking tape!! That makes perfect sense.
Yes ive always known the marble colour comes from a tinted or candy clearcoat over the black and white or silver base coats,
I would have done that but knowing i was only going to have use of halfords cans (no csndy clears in their range that i know of) i had to come up with a way to get my colour, also i wanted it to be black dominant until the light gets it.
I have another bike i plan to do paint on, if i choose marble effect again i will be more prepaired and probably order some candy clears or something.
Thanks for your commrnt and vid view, the masking bleed tip is a real good one thankyou👍
