You really are a great mole. I agree with the girl, Bulalo is pretty deep in parts of Cavite. So that really strengthen your stand as a pinoy. Congrats, man!
Congrats, Jared!!
You deserved not to get out since ur like the most "filipino" out of all that participated as filipino in the jubilee show. Even the accent you nailed it!. Congratz Jared! Mabuhay
Jared because you speak the Tagalog language was the key you learn so much about the Filipino culture and you were able to answer, when you went to the Philippines and spoke with the Pinoys also helped you a lot. Most of them the Fil-Ams dont speak the language so and the only Filipino culture they know is food and Filipino folk dance hahahaha, good job Jared , kung balik ka sa Pinas sa Dec ka uwi para super masaya
Language and Culture are Inseparable
“Through learning language, we learn about culture"
The biggest giveaway was naming yourself just "John" because no one ever only has John as their first name. It's always followed with a second first name like John Mark, John Lloyd, John Dale, John Carlo etc. Jared is also a widely used Filipino name, which could be a standalone name compared to John which is always paired with something else.
But my bro in law is John but he’s half Filipino born and raised in the Philippines so yes there’s john just like my sister is just Anne
@@sprikitik9719Yeah sure there are Johns, but I'm just saying that John paired with a second first name is MUCH more common in the Philippines than just John.
@@miaya3898 It's not as common as John, but it's definitely a name used here. Even in Jared's Philippine trip series, you'd see that he met a kid named Jared.
The "My way" lore is so true. Someone got shot singing that song. And i noticed your face changed. Good thing you followed up with "bebot", that threw em off. Congrats on the win.😊 Also Jared John would've worked too.
This is so amazing, Jared! I never thought someone I’ve known in real life would end up on Jubilee, but you’re the perfect guy for it and I’m honestly so proud of you, man!!
Also I laughed so hard when you chose the name “John” since I knew exactly what you meant there 😂
Lol Jahred you are more Filipino than these dudes. You had visited the Phillippunes for a month, you speak and converse with tagalog language on many ordinary Filipinos especially in the streets, you eat the foods especially the simple one that makes you differ from these Filipino kids living abroad and yet their feets are floating in the ground.
What a pleasant surprise! So how did it feel to be the only all seeing one? Haha
Very good strategy for not sticking out like a sore thumb right away. Generally, Filipinos are very passive and just love being in the background until people discover that they can sing, dance etc. Like what they say, “sa una lang magpapabugbog ang mga bida.”
Well played Jared!! 🥰 You are definitely a Filipino at heart.
Wow congrats Jared .. you really can pass as a Filipino
Haha, my brother's name is Jared and we are Filipino.
*_Napanood ko to last week, haha...
Congrats! So fun game and you're a deserving winner.
I've watched this Jared..or John..Jared..John...brother nalang!!!! Congratz as you really blend well! The episode was awesome...ang galing!!!
Cool video. Good job Jared!
First time I watched this was from Jubille but it is more fun watching this from Jared reaction.
Yes Jared is pretty common namme in the Philippines among millenials and Gen Zs
Most of Pinoys with John as their first name always comes as a double name. e.g. John Carlo (JC), John Paul (JP), or sometime John comes after, e.g. Peter John (PJ)... so yeah... I don't recall a person that I knew with just plain JOHN as first name.
Ang galing mo talaga Jared... By the way, bicolano is both language and person... Bicol is the place.
@@Jayyhartmann Bicolano is either language or men and Bicolana is for women who lives in Bicol....
nakakatuwa ka talaga sir jared hahaha pusong pinoy ka talaga 🥰
I watched that episode. I was pretty funny. Good job, man!
Great video & your winning at being the mole in the group. I was surprised that little Tagalog was spoken. I would have figured the group members would "test" you by listening to your Tagalog to single you out.
Also, I was very surprised that "John" (the Canadian) didn't know about the song "My Way" & how it's not to be sung at karaoke. I remember hearing that from several people from the Philippines but I'm not really sure if that restriction is true or not. The rest in the group seemed to know about it but "John" did not.
Ang galing mo Jared! 👍
Love this ❤
I have one student before named Jared as well.I really love Canadian people they are really professional and formal.
You did well kuya. Galeng!
I watched it jared you did a goodjob love watching it
You truly pilipino by heart
I'm also surprised no one else knew about the "tabi-tabi po" and duwende/Nuno sa punso.
To be honest though, it's been quite a while since I last heard that "superstition" and it was a pleasant surprise you brought it up! I guess most Filipinos have already forgotten about it.
I still do that when I pee somewhere outside a house or in a countryside even there's no punso haha
you deserve a like man thank you for loving us
A very nice sharing of your "I Went UNDERCOVER as A Filipino on A Game Show!" video. Full support & Best of luck po/Ned👍🎉👍
this is totally awesome
i enjoyed watching the game.... jared sounded more filipino than the rest. wooot wooot love it. kahusay na bata
tabi tabi po or tabi apo os super famous in the old days like the 90s. genZ doesn't know that anymore.
Jared is Filipino name,my cousin's name Jared,i enjoyed watching this video 😂😂basta habang nanonood ako natatawa at the same time i got nervous for John pero ang galing nya he knew everything about Filipino😂
You are awesome, Mr Jared!
Your smart!
Yup. Jared can also be a Filipino westernized name.
My younger cousin is named Jared Howard Benito.
Yes meron din Jared name sa pilipinas
You just did a great job.❤
WOW u so very much good Jared...
God bless you jared❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes madami Jared pangalan dito sa pinas
Its fun. Love it !
Well played eh. 🍁👍🏼 Dasurv kase mahusay, Mabuhay! 🎉
I think there's a filipino blood runs in your soul Jared. ❤❤❤
Good job jared! 👏👏👏
Hi Jared! We, Filipinos love your content. ❤
Bicol is the place and Bicolano can mean the dialect or a person from Bicol
Nice one john.
Lmao I was there on the premier. I was like wtf Jared why are you here!🤣😂
omg that's only proving that no matter what race you from, if you want to embrace certain culture and language, that makes YOU like them even tho you are not them by blood!!!
So if a person is white, they can embrace being black and they too can say the N word?
You're right it depends on the brand. Magic sing was only popularized in the late 2000's
My wife keeps asking, "She's Canadian?!" (talking about Jared). After watching your more recent videos, she can hardly believe that you're not Pinoy! Very entertaining video... you're amazing!
i saw it on tiktok, u were great
you out filipinoed the filipinos
He might have lost if they had Filipinos from the motherland. Jared is not fully fimiliar being Filipino yet. Going against the filams is a easy win lol
The story that you told them about the dwarf was so popular in the Philippines specially in the province but it so happen that those guys stayed in the other countries for long time I think that's why they didn't know about it. And I think that 1 point kung bakit hindi sila nagduda sayo...good job Sir Jared
Man. With that mustache you’re looking more like a Filipino uncle. Hahahaha!
Congrats on nailing the game's psychology ahaha.
Thats awesomw
The vicks on the bottom of the feet and wearing the socks 🧦 and you don’t cough at night is true. It really works 😅😅😅
You definitely would give them a run for their money if you`d have all spoken in Tagalog...Great video Jared..don`t spend it all at once ha ha !
Bicolano is a person from Bicol and it is also the language spoken there in region 5.
congrats Jared, you are amazing with your knowledge of the filipino language & culture. Do you do music vid reaction? I'd like to see if you can understand filipino rap. Can you do a music vid of Huli Na by skusta clee & Yuridope live on the wish bus and check if you can catch up & understand the rap & music. It has no caption or translation but you'll enjoy the music a lot
In one of your recent videos when you were getting that banana cold drink, one of the little kids said his name was Jared.
Okay, as a Bicolana, Rey is my dude. It's his "dual wielding" comment, lol. Bro is a gamer!
Edit: I forgot to say congrats, Jared!
Jared pala...😁
I love this game. You got 'em fooled, hahaha!
This is awesome Jared 😂
Just shared this video to my bf acct…I enjoyed it!
The dwende and tabi-tabi po is popular. It's just not popular outside the Philippines 😅 i think it's because americans don't really pee outside. 😂
I was expecting you to use Jared. There's many in my family named Jared
Wow!! Congrats!😁
You looks like younger leonardo de carpio from titanic lead actor.
@jayyhartmann @jared you should try Cebuano or Bisaya too Hehe..or you may visit Cebu, Philippines with so much tourist spot you can explore too and foods.
My boy ray cabato!!!!
Maganda ang episode naito❤
Nahh you're correct! It really depends on the brand of Portable Karaoke Machine. They just don't know. It just happens that Magic Sing is the most popular one in the States. In the Philippines, it's actually Platinum. 😅
❤❤❤
That game was fun
haha I'm surprised no one knew about that filipino superstition about using the restroom outside too lol. my dad told me about it when I was younger.
Jarred is not traditional and very popular but its use in the Philippines.
Yes i think 1 out 10 Filipinos knows a Jared in their lives.
Jared also is a pinoy name.😊
Fun fact - 2024 Miss Universe Philippines is Chelsea Manalo. Sana nga manalo sya sa MU pageant 😅
Bro. Jared I think Bicolano both describe the person and the language. Like me.. I am an Illonggo person in PINAS and I speak Illonggo language..
Ispanyol❤❤❤❤❤
Cool vid bro. My son's name is Jared which came from my nickname and my wife's name. My wife's name, "Jade" and my nickname "Red" ,also another reason why we named him Jared, we were told to give him a name which came from the bible so hence, Jared! 🎉🎉🎉
Its my first time in your youtube channel where are you in Canada in what province? I'm working in Speciality life in ON
The one who said that he like Pancit Molo probably one or both parents an Ilonggo
How much did you win? Magkano pare?
My nephew's name is Jared Maningding
😂🤣🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💚
Reflects the Filipino culture, easily accepts people that embraces the culture. And maybe something like, easily gets fooled.
jared is also a filipino name
You have the perfect strategy of not flexing your Tagalog 🤣😂
There was news before the victim sang MY WAY by Frank Sinatra and he was shot that's why and then it follows I think in some scenario victim was shot singing My way song.
Ahahaha kering Keri mo yan Jared .. Some Filipino parents used Jared for their son also in Philippines
