triple guitar spectacle in the breakdown, decent heirs to Judas Priest guitar legends

Instrumentally, they’re a decent heir to Priest, but not on their level. But, speaking as an operatically trained vocalist, Yannis is an objectively better singer than Halford in every way, and that’s coming from a huge Rob Halford fan. It just sucks there are so few good recordings of them. He also gets sick a lot and does shows anyway, so he can be a little inconsistent live. When he’s well, though, he’s rivaled only by Daniel Heiman, and there are still things Yannis can do that Daniel can’t. Yannis is just absurdly versatile.

Yes, in fact they had three shows last year in August and September.

Cool performance but backing vocal tracks always disappoint me. You got 4 other guys in the band, surely at least one of them can sing?

      But not all of them

Anton does the backing vocals. He sings pretty well & high too, he often covers yannis screams when Yannis’ voice is tired. Not sure why on this performance they used that many backing tracks, maybe one of them was sick or they just wanted to rest their voice in the middle of a tour.
