How to calculate rate in case of present value ?

let, PV(present Value)=501878; P(periodic value)=1,00,000; n(number of years)=10
; x= rate
PV-(P(1-(1+X) ^(-n)) / X)=0
501878-((100000(1-(1+X) ^(-10)) / X)=0
put the values in calculator . ‘X’ should be 0.15 or 15%
or close to 15%
