To me, SHIKI's actually a nice guy when he's not insane (because of the demon blood), possessed (by Roa), or drugged up (by Kohaku) as confirmed in Kagetsu Tohya, but I don't like Roa because he chose himself to betray the True Ancestors and Arcueid for immortality. IIRC, he fell in love with Arcueid AFTER she killed him some number of times.
In the Kohaku route you can actually see a conversation between SHIKI and Shiki where they don't recognise He seems to be a pretty chill guy (murderous rampaging aside)

I know this comment is *hella old,* but... Yup. Roa was a vampire. But much like Nrvnqsr Chaos, he was an "abomination of a vampire" as they say. Because he could easily reincarnate and possess someone else's body as many times as he wanted, even the other Dead Apostles/vampires sort of despised him, because they didn't consider that a form of true immortality, just an aberration. Yup. Nrvnqsr Chaos and Roa were freaks in the world of freaks, imagine that. Hahahahahahahahaha!
Didn´t SHIKI wnet mad with the Tohno blood inside him ands stabbed Nanaya Shiki at the chest? Then Akiha gave him her lifeforce then The Tohno clan head appears and supossedly kills SHIKI?..I only watched the failure that is anime and the games can even be considered canon?
