Exactly. This isn’t just about goddamn racism. This is about homophobia, this is about all the problems swept under the rug. The people that say we’re being dramatic, or we should be suspended don’t know anything. I’ve been targeted with slurs and I have never once used them in return. Is it so much to ask for a day, a year, a decade of peace?

Everyone of these kids should be suspended for a week. Make it indoor suspension. This is kids trying to get out of class. Should be taught to obey the rules.
We do obey the rules. We had permission to do this, and it was during our break period. Please understand that we want equality, not just for racism, but for everything going on and happening to us.
if someone was hitting you with a towel everyday at work unexpectedly and you couldn’t do anything, HR doesn’t do anything, and the higher ups don’t do anything, do you think you would react in a different way than the kids in the video.
