I say this every vid, but great work as always! Keep up the great work! Really enjoying this series right now with the more consistent uploads, don’t take that as me being critical of when they aren’t as consistent trust me, I get that things change. Anyways, keep it up and God bless!
I used to work on a farm which grew sugar beets in Tuscola County, MI. We used a beet cart to balance out our truck loads and lifter speeds. I highly recommend that you look into one! Love the sugar beet action though!
Very cool! I know you guys on the east side do a lot of it. Would love to see a harvest in action. I definitely will be looking into getting one next year
I love this series sim!!! Fantastic vid as always! So good to see you uploading a few again!. Love the farm set up and your equipment line up is spot on. Keep em coming my guy. Looking forward to the next one already
I Farm around the Minto/ Warsaw ND area, I am very close to Forest River. I farm Wheat, Soybeans, Sugar Beets, Sunflowers, Corn, and Pinto beans. Corn is very common. Our Pinto beans seed we get from Forest River Bean Co. and we harvest them and sell them back to Forest River every year. If you need tips or anything let me know!! I know a lot about corn as well.
Great video Sim, got a good start on pre-pile. Funnily enough I work at a sugar refinery in SW MN. You are correct about unloading at the pilers. The small one on the left is for live bottoms and and dumps, the tilt table on the right is for the side unload cage trailers. The whole bed of the piler tilts the truck to unoad it. We'll be lifting beets again hopefully in mid August, weather permitting.
Good stuff! I’m happy I got that right haha thank you for commenting. I might chance the harvest window to be a bit earlier so I can get started like I were doing pre pile
@@SimulationStationFS I would definitely change the harvest to August. At least down here they start pre-pile in the beginning of August, then move to full harvest mid to late August.
Holy crips 2 vids in 2 days from the one and only simulation station!!!! Just made my whole week!. Great work my dude. I am loving this series to say the least. Keep up the fantastic work buddy, I look forward to each one you post. Hope you’re doing well and staying cool and hydrated in this bull crap heat. I hope your IRL wheat harvest goes good and everyone is safe.
I’m not gonna lie, you got me thinking about trying a small amount of root crops. Like you, I also haven’t done root crops since for sure FS19….maybe even FS17. Thanks for the itch, I just might have to scratch!
@@LaygoFarms I don’t know if you should be broadcasting that sim gave you THE Itch, it sounds like you got something you can’t wash off lol!!! But honestly up to the point of this series Iv had zero desire to do root crops myself and now I just caught myself looking at root crop harvesters on mod hub!!. Damn it sim why
In North Dakota we do farm up to the road and in and out of powerlines and least where i am located which is about 2hrs from the red river valley area.
Hay sim just wanted to let you know that in bacegame fs22 thare is a USA spec beet cart its by amputy or something like that it would probably be at use to you.
Glad to see your enjoying yourself. Great job buddy
Thanks fella!

How did you manage to hook up the beet topper? For the life of me I can’t figure it out
Redownload it if you haven’t recently. I did and it works
Hay sim just wanted to let you know that in bacegame fs22 thare is a USA spec beet cart its by amputy or something like that it would probably be at use to you.
The sugar beet cart is by Amity.
That’s the plan!
Mygamestream has an amazing one built off of the in game one
also we do do a lot of corn and soybeans where im at and some do a lot of barley actually
Thanks for the tips!
Where did you get the topper from?
technical-farms-modding.itch.io/amity-3730
I like that beet harvester a lot. Is it public?
Yup it’s on Kingmods
Where is the best place to get the follow me mod? Love the map and the series man!
On the modhub and thank you!
How long did it take to do the auto drive course for this map?
It is provided by Smeby
@@SimulationStationFS Wow! You can't beat that, a great map with Auto drive done for you. Win win in my book.
How do you make your thumbnails
