Haha, don't get scared. First eject the USB, then and press (Shift + ALT + Del buttons), if nothing happens, press and hold the power button to shut it down.

When I Press ESC and do that I save exit and it takes Me to my Lock Screen to enter password
I guess pressing escape DOES NOT save the changes, when you have set attached USB as priority device to boot from, save those changes.
At the top do you see EXIT menu? Besides boot menu? Go there, from there select save and exit changes. Or you can use the mentioned shortcuts on your screen as well

Format the USB, restart your pc, after that dont open any other stuff and make usb bootable.

Yes, because the tool we are using sometimes create partitions in usb so when you are to make it bootable again make sure you format it. If you are unable to do that then use rufus tool to format usb then again use other software

It will take sometime to pop up the options, you need to select checkra1n by pressing a key, kindly watch the video step by step and perform actions

It must be there, check the name of ur USB or the USB brand name in boot menu.
Also restart your pc without attaching usb and check / count how many options are there in boot menus, then restart again with attaching usb, if later the options increases the new option is ur usb.

It must proceed further, use other alt key on the other side and press when you see instructions on the screen

It should work because its the only command that words with ALT from the commands being shown, you might wanna try on another pc

Of course you will be, in case you dont see update all you need to do is to unjailbreak your device (from checkra1n app itself) and you are good to go.

That is not supported for this device. If you are on iOS 14.8 or lower iOS version on your iphone xs max you can then use unc0ver jailbreak right now. But if you are on ios 15 versions list then there is NO jailbreak available for that this time and you need to wait
checkra wont show up on phone
It should, check in app library. And it shows after a few secs after your phone boot back after the jailbreak

Calm down, use other tool to format it and it'll work fine.
Like use rufus and format through that or just put in checkra1n in usb with rufus.
But to jailbreak with this method you need to make bootable usb with balenaetcher.
Or you can use other checkra1n method those are also available on the channel.

i finally got a 4gb usb and it boots just fine but it wont detect my iphone
edit: used another tutorial and respringed my phone with a terminal app it shows up now and it works :D
edit 2: springboard crashed and had to restart no jailbreak :/
