Then you would lose the skyline and the stadium looks really nice now one of the best stadiums in baseball heat isn’t gonna make them done it unless they move to Texas which they will never do
Although the new stadium is nice, went there for the 1st a couple weeks ago, I still reminisce about old Busch 2. It was opened when I was 4 yrs old, and went to several games there. I truly miss the arch shaped crown around the top, it just said St Louis. Personally I wish they could've incorporated some of the old styling into the new stadium, not over done, just a nod to the old stadium.
They built half of the new stadium well 2005 was going on then when the season ended they imidiatley tour down the old stadium and built the other half of the new stadium, but it created some issues because the cardinals got to the postseason they had to delay the new stadium a month so when the cardinals started playing there in 2006 parts of the stadium were still being built
In the remnants of the old Busch Memorial Stadium is the Curse of the Bambino, as that's the stadium where the Curse of the Bambino died.
Busch Stadium II Demolition and where that stadium stood is the grave of the Curse of the Bambino.
Busch stadium needs a dome. It’s too fricken hot in St. Louis most of the summer.

So they build III one right across from where II was being demolished
Yeah. Ballpark village is where Busch Stadium II was at
Also the tombstone of the Curse of the Bambino.

I HATE that they tore down that beautiful stadium but I also wish...maybe they had left half of it and built a new half...cool concept?
When the stadium was torn down, a tombstone came up on the site of the stadium saying that it was the field where the Curse of the Bambino died.
where did they play in the mean time ,
? this was not from october 2005 to april 2006
Yes it was from that time period.
They built it in the off season
