Laura Marling shares director's cut of "Short Movie" album

Laura Marling launched her music career in England when she was only 16 - but, despite widespread acclaim, she nearly quit a couple of years ago after an "existential crisis" in LA. Today, the introspective singer-songwriter joins Shad to discuss the songs that brought her back to music, the dips in her journey, and why she's more comfortable being called an "old soul" these days.

What a great interview. I love how Laura was rather reserved for the first few minutes, but by mid-interview, she was open and talkative. check out a The Atlantic column titled "Why Writers Should Look Back for Inspiration" she wrote in 2015. She mentions The Cornish Trilogy and The Rebel Angels. she develops on her favourite reads, I personally enjoyed finding out
