I wish you would have shown how it looks on you. There are so many different vids on this subject and I'm having a hard time deciding which technique to use... the only way to make that decision is to see how they look on.
So I just did this. I would size up in a shirt, and cut your neckline down lower. If i tie mine in the back in my usual size, it’s a little tight on my chest and I feel like it’s choking me on the neck. Otherwise this is a great style!
Ok so I can't upload a picture on here, but if anyone wants to try this make sure u get a size up for the shirt. Make sure u take a little more off the neck if u want the top to lay off the shoulders & make sure u tie the extra pc of hem closer to the bottom of the arm sleeves or else it bunches up at the top. It's cute, but bot worth ruining a nice shirt to learn how cus this is easy to mess up. Thank goodness my shirt was big enough to take extra off and play with, but it turned out ok!

I tried this, it does not fit after you tie the back, too tight, need to use a larger shirt..wish I would have known before I ruined a t shirt 😢
