Co-teaching is the best. I was a preschool teacher for 8 yrs and I couldn’t imagine teaching with my co-teacher. Work flows and having someone there to always help with work and also personally 😊 i wish every school and every grade level did this
Do you do any staggered days ? Or they all come in on the same day?? Also, the Fundations book/manual shows you how to set up the standard magnetic cards you put on the board! They are supposed to match the same way the kiddos boards are set up with the correct number of letters in each row!

that's what's it like here in my country too. At 4-5, they would be in year 2 and graduate in year 3 when they are 5-6. Preschool is 2 years old. Primary starts at 5-6 for the little ones
You will be so happy you do student numbers, it saves you time in years going forward. We started the 16th of August and out of 15 kids only one kiddo doesn’t recognize their number yet in my kinder room. I can’t wait to see your kinder classroom in action this year!!

In our school, since our school is 7th, 8th and 9th grade, we have a meet the teacher BBQ on September 6th for me. I like the conference style as well!
We do both an open house where they come in and sign up for a class visit and then we have two weeks to meet with all of our 40 preschoolers. We are done and we will begin teaching on Monday. I can’t wait
oh my goodness i grew up on ted drew’s i’m from st. louis ! i am actually living now by scott afb retired military here . i do not eat ice cream from anywhere but when we hit ted drew’s my husband didn’t understand until he gets the ta dads concrete 😂 i use to live by the south grand one growing up i could walk to it and at christmas we would go buy our tree there . so many memories. i hope you have a fabulous school year my grand kids started last week . speaking of ted drew’s my sister went last week and brought home pints of the vanilla custard and chocolate and hot fudge on the side. we have ted drew’s to eat here 😂
