What cycling GPS unit should I upgrade to ? Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead

A few weeks since the fred and i want to test my legs. My Wahoo Roam failed me on the Fred Whitton and im considering upgrading but what to ?

I’ve got the 840 love it, always had Garmin so can’t compare to other companies but think the climb pro is fantastic on it. Wouldn’t waste the extra for the solar one though. Also 840 has touchscreen and buttons 😊
I’m really leaning towards the Garmin but unsure if to pay the bit extra to have to bigger screen. The solar don’t appeal to me though as it would be one hell of a ride for me to drain any of the Garmin unit 🙈

I'll not be able to cycle past that hill now without trying it! You know when it looks really steep on a camera it's a beast ... Fantastic effort and up Cragg there. Great video, mate! 🙂

I’ve just bought the 840 non solar and already love it. Does everything I want and a lot more besides.
They are great unit 😜 I’ll be revealing my new unit in the next video once I’ve edited this evening
I’d recommend the Garmin 1040 if it’s budget
If I did I wouldn’t get the solar as I can’t think of anything I’d do where I’d need that extra power that I couldn’t get through a power bank that I’d take anyway
Jesus mate what a worrier u r my god. That looked nearly bloody impossible l couldn't have done that at I'm now 12 stone. But was just under 18 before. Your a great bloke mate. Mybe try linkin up at somepoint and do a TH-cam special cyclin gatherin.

Burton on trent mate. If your close to Leeds train station your 130 mins straight there from mine. Il bring my bike with me mate. And others too aswel if and wen u fancy it.

It was awful mate. Think I went into it a bit to hard and should have held back slightly for that last bit on the steep section

It ruined me mate. Pissed me off though editing it as I was so close to where it eases slightly
I’ve had a wahoo bolt , I mainly purchased it for the ease of use in setting up etc , but I found the screen and data display not as good as my Garmin (just my opinion wahooligans) , I then went back to the Garmin and got an edge 830 no buttons touchscreen really quick for setting up , now thinking of upgrading to the 840 for a few more features but think I’ll wait for offers first on that, I guess it’s Apple v Android in phone terms , you get what ecosystem works you ,
I agree with you. The garmin gives you far more data fields if you’re that way inclined. I like the data that Garmin offers and it really appeals to me
