  • Review Of The 2020 Chevy Camaro Convertible 3.6L V6 1LT. Full Review, First Driving Impressions, And Top Down Fun | Lawsons Car Reviews.
    Chevy says 0-60 mph takes 5.1 seconds. This car sounds really good even without the active exhaust. I have driven the Camaro with the active exhaust and that car sounds really amazing and is totally worth paying the extra $$ for the difference it makes.
    I've had two of these V-6 Camaros over the past week. A silver convertible and a red convertible and neither have disappointed me. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast this car actually feels. It shifts really fast in this 8 speed auto version, and in sport mode it really let's you rev all the way to 7000-7200 rpm which felt great. It also will stay high in the Rev range before it shifts in sport mode which is useful for passing power.
    The gas mileage was amazing while I had this car. It's actually really flat in the corners and this was a base model. Hands down has better handling and steering than the new mustang and new Challenger!
    A few negatives I'll quickly mention: 1. The arm rest sucks 2. No trunk space especially with the top down 3. Some hard plastic on the inside 4. Roof is slow to come down 5. Ugly engine cover.

    I have the same car and I love it, it does have power and sport mode with turbo.

      This one was not the 4cyl Turbo, this was the next engine up in the line. 3.6L V6.

    1. It does open in at a decent speed. I was super impatient!
    2. It can open and close up to 20 MPH
    3. I actually liked this car so much that i did buy one 2 years later lol. Just a few FYIs

      It’s because the wind of faster speeds would rip it apart, like an umbrella

    I really loved how this car drove. Both in the 4 cylinder turbo and the v6. If you get a chance to drive any model camaro you should definitely take it! Especially if it's the ss it higher

    I have tested both. A Ford Mustang Ecoboost and the Chevy Camaro. I ended up buying the Mustang, I just like them better.

    • @LawsonsCarReviews
      @LawsonsCarReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't think you can go wrong with either to be honest. Which Camaro did you test. The 4cyl turbo or the v6?

    • @MrMraggies1996
      @MrMraggies1996 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LawsonsCarReviews the 4cylinder turbo.

    • @LawsonsCarReviews
      @LawsonsCarReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the 4 cyl is ok in the Camaro. Handles good. But to be honest the V6 is much more like the Ecoboost as far as power etc. It's a lot of fun. I raced a 2013 Camaro SS in it and did awesome. :) You keeping your Ecoboost stock?

      Lawson's Car Reviews yes. I don’t believe in adding on after market stuff. The only thing I’d do is put better looking chrome rims on it.

      That will look nice. A little tip in case you change your mind. The Ecoboost being turbo charger is easy to make more power out of. Just a simple tune can make your car 400 ft-lbs if torque and an extra 70 hp. It's a cool platform

    I think this car looks good even with the 18" wheels

    That is “NIT PICKING”
    My 2016’s roof can DEPLOY & RETRACT while driving UP TO a speed of 30 MPH.👂🏾👂🏾👍🏿💪🏿🔥

    Looks better than the mustang convertible

    • @LawsonsCarReviews
      @LawsonsCarReviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Without a doubt! It's because it hides the roof fully. And it can't go up and down up to 30mph plus you can take it down by the key fob. All things the mustang convertible can't do

    The Camaro is definitely faster than the base challenger or charger

    I disagree with mustang comment. My gt is much more responsive

    • @LawsonsCarReviews
      @LawsonsCarReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course. I said Ecoboost mustang not the gt. The gt competes with the ss not the v6 remember
