Bilal’s performance is outstanding.. The way he transformed himself into the character Ibrahim is brilliant . His body language, voice modulation, dialogue delivery, mannerisms everything is on point . He is completely different from his other previous characters. What a range .. The most versatile, natural and finest actor.
That utter shock on Ibrahim's face when Aliya nonchalantly asked him to close the doors, the way he turned his face, in complete disbelief,to see her face was awesome...when he was delivering that lengthy monologue one can't help but notice how calmly and nonchalantly Aliya was listening to him...not even once she tried to stop him or tried to say something...another part that kinda hit me was when she asked him to switch off the light...Sabeena was brilliant here, you just can't comprehend what exactly was going in Aliya's mind, she was that mysterious and shattered simultaneously...
Ibrahim's shaky hands, sweaty forehead, tearful eyes when he was offering Azan was the acting of the highest form...Bilal has taken his acting game to whole new level with Ibrahim🔥🔥..the way Ibrahim was rambling in shaky voice when he dropped the water container,him bursting into tears out of fear,him begging to Maulvi sahab if there is any other way as he doesn't wanna proceed with it, that was mind blowing...you can totally feel him, the pain of being forced into something your heart & religion don't permit was so real..Ibrahim is so REAL🖤...
Bilal is so good as Ibrahim. This guy never fails to impress me. The character is so different & not even a hint of his previous characters in it.👏👏👏 Enjoyed the first episode and the performances.👍
This is what you call acting. Bilal's transformation from shahmeer to ibrahim is mind-blowing. Tho we already know the brilliant actor that he is, but he has once again proved himself! Kudos to Gohar and sabeena. Great cast. Gohar's character is very impactful, and his potrayal is equally good.
Ibrahim's "Aapko pata hai ji?" was music to my ears....now I'm waiting to hear 'Aliya' from his mouth😍😍..Bilal's Ibrahim us pitch perfect because he doesn't merely play the character, he becomes the character..Not only look & body language but even his voice modulation contribute so much to set Ibrahim apart from his previous characters...this dude possesses secret transformative power I'm telling y'll...The way he sheds his inhibitions and completely surrender to what character demands is absolutely marvellous...once he takes up any character rest assured you won't see Bilal on your screen but only that charcter...he knows his craft like a back of his hand...
Kudos to Bilal Abbas Khan for choosing characters that don't typecast him. Gohar Rasheed on the other hand has not been so lucky and only gets to play the stereotypical abusive husband or bad guy - he nails it everytime because of the command on his craft. One of the finest actors in Pakistan without a doubt sadly wasted.
Aaj ki raat shabir per aur mujh per qayamat ki tra guzray gi is the exact interpretation of what a woman would have gone through, when a husband insults her abusing those 3 words. I love how Allah has kept balance in everything. I love Islam. 😊
The way he stands,the way he walks, the way he talks, who is this fellow? I've never seen him before...Ah, Ibrahim he is, from head to toe...I dunno from where Bilal gets so much innocence..and I'm not referring to his innocent face here, from his dialogue delivery to his body language, his eyes, everything is in sync with his innocent face.I mean, he's personification of word innocence...when I saw him as Qaassim I thought this is it, no can do 'innocent' better than him then he did Abdullah and I was like wow he did it again but with so much difference...and now we have Ibrahim who carries more innocence and nativity than Qaassim and Abdullah....the dude definitely knows how to outdo oneself, he's in league of his own...

Ibrahim & Aliya's nikah scene gave me goosebumps...Ibrahim sitting on his knees, looking down & sniffling, feeling so helpless, sent chills down my spine...Bilal again, put his finest acting skills at display here....tears were streaming down his cheeks, he looked up with hopeful eyes at Shabbir when Maulvi sahab was asking Aliya if she acts this nikah, and then he wiped his nose and dropped his head low again with disappointment..I'm still in complete disbelief that Bilal is the same guy who played Shahmeer & FB few months.. After signing characters with commercial appeal like Shahmeer/Fazal opting for offbeat character like Ibrahim & doing complete justice to it, that's only Bilal's forte...

Aliya getting up to switch off the lights as Ibrahim stood in the corner and then what happened literally shook me to the core....it was dark, camera was focusing on Ibrahim as he was rambling how he wouldn't go further than this point, being in the same room there was no visual of Aliya..camera zoomed on Ibrahim's face and there was this voice was someone getting choked, that sheer horror on Ibrahim's face as he looked straight, his eyes fell first on Aliya's hanging legs and then he looked up as Aliya hung herself with fan...jeez , the shock value this scene had was freaking REAL..at this point we finally understood why Aliya so seemed aloof..Ibrahim's shocked and horrified face was echo of what us viewers felt at that time...and he rushed & held her hanging legs to save her and boom, scene was cut there, leaving us with jaw dropped, pulse racing and what not..brilliant direction and execution hands down...
Everyone is appreciating bilal for his transformation from shameer sikander to ibrahim. But no one is noticing the acting of Gohar. Who everytime give alot of depression to viewers because of his acting.
Guys don't leave it after watching just little bit. Its definitely confusing in the starting but its get better. This is definitely a very good drama. 😊
Bilal has proven his versatility time and again...The way he transforms his whole body language and tone according to the character, it's just mind blowing.. I know Nauman Ejaz is Nauman Ejaz but If anyone deserves to be given the title of the second Nauman Ejaz of the pakistani industry, in my opinion it has to be Bilal Abbas Khan❤ and Gohar Rasheed is the best choice for the role of Shabbir.. He portrayed a similar character in Mann Mayal and he had done justice to that character so I am looking forward to seeing how this character turns out to be..and Sabeena has definitely improved after Suno Chanda and she was brilliant in Kabuli Pulao so I am sure Kashif Nisar picked her for the role because she deserves to be Aliya in this show because he definitely knows the knack of working with sensitive scripts like he had done in the past with ranjha ranjha, raqeeb se.. looking forward to watching the second episode now.
Best scene is 12:50 when Shabbir knocks at the door and his wife is happy to see him because she thinks that he has come to rescue her from this bad situation. She is smiling but then he hands money to Ibrahim and her face changes dramatically. She then realises that it’s over, wow what a scene.
I started following Pakistani dramas after I watched Sultana Siddqi's Zindagi Gulzar Hai on Zee Zindagi channel. So I am here. And the cast is surely Icing on the cake. Love from India.

@@Studydolll 🤷♀️apne apne opinions. i find sajal too boring. same roles same characters. also she cant face the camera without makeup. sabeena on the other hand belongs to the group of artists who are into art films and can go without makeup on screen. sajal is all about glamour. sabeena is not. also sabeena has done versatile roles..like a vamp haya to a girl in kabli pulao..and even her old roles and side characters. she deserves to improve her craft. whereas sajal is still stuck with the same kind of roles...playing someones love interest or a rotlu crying girl.
Bilal Abbas is just a chameleon actor, the way he goes from one character to another is simply brilliant. The transition from the fun, comical Fazl Baksh to the powerful romantic hero Shahmeer Sikander to Ibrahim, the very timid, nervous and simple Muslimah, he is just absolutely phenomenal. Sabeenah and Gohar also doing equal justice to their roles. Script looks fresh, fast-paced and intriguing. I am seated for this one. Also kudos to Hum for finally doing the right level of promotion for such a worthy-project. All the best to team Mann Joggi.

I remembered when I ordered my choora from Panjab and it came. It was really tight on my wrists. I thought they sent the wrong size, but I still wore it for my marriage and struggled since it was too tight. Then I got out of the marriage and realized I got out of the torture. 😢😢
it is NOT portrayed in a wrong light. This is exactly what they are trying to show that this is wrong .......did u not hear Bilals character say "This is wrong i will end up in hell" numerous times. This is what the whole drama is based on.

That scene where Ibrahim was pouring his heart out to Aliya as tears stream down his cheeks was heartbreaking 💔💔...he was guilt-ridden, morally shaken for what he was forced to do..even it was just a first episode Bilal's stupendous acting got me connected with Ibrahim as if I knew this character since many days..not many actors can pull off such lengthy monologues so fluently and pull the viewers in...
I think i understood the concept completey ... As a part reveals that Shabbir divorced Aliyah out of anger but now he is her ex husband .. in Islam it is said that a women cannot marry her ex husband unless she married another man ... And Ibrahim said that it is a crime because it is also believed in Islam that a women shouldn't marry another man with the intention of again getting married to her ex husband ... So shabbir seems to believe only one part of Islam and ignores the other .. he force Ibrahim to marry Aliyah so he can marry Aliyah again

The second nikah done solely for the intention of breaking it after some time isn't valid in the first place. The rules of separation and divorce are made for a reason and women shouldn't fall prey to this😓

She completed her iddat or not isn't clearly shown. That's because she was living in the same house as her ex husband, so she may not have completed iddat OR she was doing iddat in same house because she had nowhere else to go.
That was confusing part ,the iddat The writer has showed that there’s people like Shabbir who don’t like to listen and do what’s right for them. And Aliya can’t do anything as she is in his possession. A scholar can explain this well but this the situation that he might seen or people really do this kind of stuff Amazing epic
She actually did Iddat, in the next episode (2nd episode) she said to her brother that "those 3months 10 days were a trial for her". They are mixing past and present scenes so it's too confusing
On seeing Ibrahim Aliya's friend wasn't liying when she said "who is this Hero?" and "Shabbir himself is forsaking his favourable fate", I mean where is the lie bro?😌🙊....I loved the way Aliya asked Ibrahim to check if shoes fit perfectly and he got up,jumped like a lil happy kido and gave her a thumbs up🥰...I'm looking forward to Ibrahim & Aliya's chemistry unfolding in next episode..they both look so innocent, cute and lovable😍😘

Whenever bilal comes on screen its delight to watch, the way he gets emotional in that scene with molvi, holding expressions, dialogue delivery and his entire look he transform himself according to the character was extremely good 🙌 In starting the way his hands were shivering, what an actor he is fantabulous✨ looking forward to the next episode ❤

Absolutely loved the way first episode began...I expected that it would start from Shabbir & Aliya's marriage and his atrocities against Aliya which will lead to their divorce..but to my surprise, the first episode opened with Ibrahim & Aliya's marriage and backstory that lead to this marriage was shown in flashbacks...what a a top notch direction, cinematography...the way three key characters were established was simply amazing..that build up,that tension leading up to Ibrahim & Aliya's marriage was chilling, as viewers we could sense that something terrible is going to happen & eventually it did happen..

I've never seen him before...Ah, Ibrahim he is, from head to toe...I dunno from where Bilal gets so much innocence..and I'm not referring to his innocent face here, from his dialogue delivery to his body language, his eyes, everything is in sync with his innocent face.I mean, he's personification of word innocence...when I saw him as Qaassim I thought this is it, no can do 'innocent' better than him then he did Abdullah and I was like wow he did it again but with so much difference...and now we have Ibrahim who carries more innocence and nativity than Qaassim and Abdullah....the dude definitely knows how to outdo oneself, he's in league of his own...

Ibrahim & Aliya's nikah scene gave me goosebumps...Ibrahim sitting on his knees, looking down & sniffling, feeling so helpless, sent chills down my spine...Bilal again, put his finest acting skills at display here....tears were streaming down his cheeks, he looked up with hopeful eyes at Shabbir when Maulvi sahab was asking Aliya if she acts this nikah, and then he wiped his nose and dropped his head low again with disappointment..I'm still in complete disbelief that Bilal is the same guy who played Shahmeer & FB few months..

Aliya getting up to switch off the lights as Ibrahim stood in the corner and then what happened literally shook me to the core....it was dark, camera was focusing on Ibrahim as he was rambling how he wouldn't go further than this point, being in the same room there was no visual of Aliya..camera zoomed on Ibrahim's face and there was this voice was someone getting choked, that sheer horror on Ibrahim's face as he looked straight, his eyes fell first on Aliya's hanging legs and then he looked up as Aliya hung herself with fan...jeez , the shock value this scene had was freaking REAL..at this point we finally understood why Aliya so seemed aloof..Ibrahim's shocked and horrified face was echo of what us viewers felt at that time...and he rushed & held her hanging legs to save her and boom, scene was cut there, leaving us with jaw dropped, pulse racing and what not..brilliant direction and execution hands down...

Bilal has proven his versatility time and again...The way he transforms his whole body language and tone according to the character, it's just mind blowing.. I know Nauman Ejaz is Nauman Ejaz but If anyone deserves to be given the title of the second Nauman Ejaz of the pakistani industry, in my opinion it has to be Bilal Abbas Khan❤ and Gohar Rasheed is the best choice for the role of Shabbir.. He portrayed a similar character in Mann Mayal and he had done justice to that character so I am looking forward to seeing how this character turns out to be..and Sabeena has definitely improved after Suno Chanda and she was brilliant in Kabuli Pulao so I am sure Kashif Nisar picked her for the role because she deserves to be Aliya in this show because he definitely knows the knack of working with sensitive scripts like he had done in the past with ranjha ranjha, raqeeb se.. looking forward to watching the second episode now.

Bilal Abbas is just a chameleon actor, the way he goes from one character to another is simply brilliant. The transition from the fun, comical Fazl Baksh to the powerful romantic hero Shahmeer Sikander to Ibrahim, the very timid, nervous and simple Muslimah, he is just absolutely phenomenal.
Sabeenah and Gohar also doing equal justice to their roles. Script looks fresh, fast-paced and intriguing. I am seated for this one.
Also kudos to Hum for finally doing the right level of promotion for such a worthy-project.

it is NOT portrayed in a wrong light. This is exactly what they are trying to show that this is wrong .......did u not hear Bilals character say "This is wrong i will end up in hell" numerous times. This is what the whole drama is based on.

I think i understood the concept completey ... As a part reveals that Shabbir divorced Aliyah out of anger but now he is her ex husband .. in Islam it is said that a women cannot marry her ex husband unless she married another man ... And Ibrahim said that it is a crime because it is also believed in Islam that a women shouldn't marry another man with the intention of again getting married to her ex husband ... So shabbir seems to believe only one part of Islam and ignores the other .. he force Ibrahim to marry Aliyah so he can marry Aliyah again

I am confused... She was supposed to complete her iddat after divorce. Or is it about wrong practices done under pretext of Islam, which is absolutely are NOT acceptable in Islam. They did second nikkah in hidding immediately to coverup and believing this as Halala ... The drama sure unmasking the corrupt part of society brilliantly. Hats off!
She completed her iddat or not isn't clearly shown. That's because she was living in the same house as her ex husband, so she may not have completed iddat OR she was doing iddat in same house because she had nowhere else to go.

The writer has showed that there’s people like Shabbir who don’t like to listen and do what’s right for them. And Aliya can’t do anything as she is in his possession. A scholar can explain this well but this the situation that he might seen or people really do this kind of stuff

Absolutely loved the way first episode began...I expected that it would start from Shabbir & Aliya's marriage and his atrocities against Aliya which will lead to their divorce..but to my surprise, the first episode opened with Ibrahim & Aliya's marriage and backstory that lead to this marriage was shown in flashbacks...what a a top notch direction, cinematography...the way three key characters were established was simply amazing..that build up,that tension leading up to Ibrahim & Aliya's marriage was chilling, as viewers we could sense that something terrible is going to happen & eventually it did happen..
This is going to be a banger drama mark my words 😢.I didn't expect that they would come with such taboo concept . Sabeena go girl you are doing justice with scripts❤
