Awesome video! When I did capoeira, we learned a lot of these flips. It has been a while since I've tried them, but this inspired me to give them a go again.
If you want to eventually learn to swing tricks out of your touchdown raiz, it's actually better to start learning it from a round-off/ front handspring hybrid. If you twist left: throw your left leg up behind you and gradually learn to turn 180 degrees during the spring and land on your left leg. It's basically a round-off from the other leg. Then learn to cheat-step into it: that means start left foot front and take a turning step forward with your right leg and then swing up the left leg. That'll bring you much closer to the touchdown raiz technique that can be made powerful for swings
The point is it should be like a front flip that turns to your side rather than a backflip. I've been a tricker and teacher for 10 years. It's best to get it right from the start!
@@dvillegaspro ive succeeded in the past with an aerial especially off a small ledge but a corkscrew ive never landed on my feet except on a trampoline

thanks!! :) I made a legs stretching routine video and a shoulders stretching routine video :) My back is very very stiff but I'm still able to do the macaco and such, so I think back flexibility is not really needed, maybe it can help though
Don't learn Touch down Raiz from this video if you want to use it for swing something after. TD Raiz is a hard move with some tech to be good and powerful, don't take bad habits. I didn't say your tutorial are not good. Just I think it's not the good way to learn it
which is the right way to learn it in your opinion? Usually when I watch flips tutorials, they commit for the jump too early and for a careful person like me, it's not the optimal way to learn them, I prefer a more "gradual" approach to the move, or more preparatory moves and exercises to learn a move, even if it might look wrong at first, you can fix it and improve the form with time :)
@@KaioFalcrow The td raiz is a setup, not a flip. I'll explain, in Tricks, there is 3 mains type of movement: -kicks -flips -setup And obviously lot of movement have variations so a flip can have a kick and setup can a have a flip momentum inside them. Anyway for the Td raiz, is a setup, a movement who must create momentum for swing something after (you use a tricks as you want, I make generalization, I you want to pop, punch vanish or something like that after you can). I my opinion for have a good form, we can try to learn the gumbi, understand how it work and after try the td raiz. But the key are arms. You need to create a movement like a mill or wind turbine and keep your arm in a straight axis. When you kick up your leg, try to kick up in the same axis, and reach your arm on the floor to push hard to get back up like a cart wheel (which who touch the floor). I can try to explain the movement again and again but it's really hard to explain and to understand just with text, so If you want to learn this move, watch tricking, watch a different trickers, understand their technique try it, and build the best technique for you, because there is as many td raiz technique as trickers.
@@KaioFalcrow but yes use a gradual tutorial is better for beginners, but the td raiz are, in my opinion, a very hard move to change when you have bad habit in. So I think it's better to learn a hard but nice technique in first bcs fix it, in my opinion, are very hard
@@thekikix6537 yeah! I understand that! I watched many other tutorials about it but they didn’t really worked for me.. same for other ‘flips’, I know it’s a set up, but it’s still a movement where your head goes upside down a bit, and people usually explain it by committing too early, for me it doesn’t work. I know what you mean, but what I’m trying to tell is that any movement is learnable in different ways, doesn’t matter which discipline. After learning it, you can adjust it :) My touchdown raiz is not the best, but not because the way I learn it, but because I never took time to perfect it. I’m just trying to show people the way I learned it, since it worked for me, and other ways didn’t. Hope you can understand :)

Thanks man! :) I’m glad it’s helpful :)
An advice for 540 kick, it's a kick, so open your hips and turn your leg, you could have a better form and landing
I remember starting my backflips with that first one
That’s a good way! :)
you were speaking about wide lens :P kinda of interested what kind of lense are you using :D
Samyang 14mm t/3.1 😁
Thanks for your videos !!! What are the the title of the songs ?
Thanks
Thanks!! Sadly i don't know the name, try using shazam!
I was doing backflips, side flips, wall flips, b-twists, even corks, but couldn't do aerials. They're very hard in my opinion.
Au sem mao is super hard but not as hard as a cork!
@@tekesters i think a cork is much more doable with momentum, aerial requires more flexibility and strength in my opinion
@@dvillegaspro ive succeeded in the past with an aerial especially off a small ledge but a corkscrew ive never landed on my feet except on a trampoline
A front aerial i think more requires strength and flexibility moreso and have never even attempted 😅
Awesome moves! Have you recorded tutorials for each of them?
Only for the macaco :/ maybe I will do separate tutorials for each of them :)
