Tina, this is a beautiful set of cards, the design is awesome and the colors really make the card. I really enjoyed watching you create!!! I'm from Ohio, and wished you were closer to me!!! Be blessed always!
Hello Denise in Ohio! Thank you for all your wonderful comments! I am so pleased that you're enjoying my videos - knowing wonderful people like yourself are enjoying them and being inspired with my cards & projects is the reason I make my videos! Happy stamping!
Loved all the cards. I also love how you show how to cover mistakes. This is a great help especially for those who are new and could become frustrated with errors. Thank you!
First I LOVE that you use chapstick to adhere your stamp to the block. I have used gluestick in the past, but I think your way is cleaner/tidier. Second I LOVED how you fixed the stray ink... that inkblot/grass addition was perfect. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Love the hint about using chapstick and pressing down in the middle of the dimensionals to release them. Very nice card, such a good technique. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Vicky. Thanks for your comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. I agree with you, the boo-boo card turned out to be my favourite too! Happy stamping!
I love that idea Tina, I think I'll use it. today.. It's nice to watch a Canadian once in a while. I'm in the east coast too near the ocean and I love doing cards with the sea and lighthouses and such. Thanks for sharing.
Hi oh my goodness. I usually just watch utube on my phone. Got broadband in house now. Just saw a fantastic video on my TV. Tutorial class. Cat punch and stamp tutorial. Wow wow wow. What a amazing talent you have. Thank you so much for sharing. Just subscribed.
Hi Tina Love this stamps set, I'm a new Demo and I try and buy older stamp sets for my collection and you never know which element of an oldie may come in use. Glad the Splodge Monster gets to you as you show how to overcome it. I do tend to start again but as usual the rest of the images are usually perfect. Thank You. Luvs and Hugs xxx
Wow! Magnificent cards. Thank You so much. I just discovered your You Tube channel a couple of weeks ago. I have learned so much from you already. I am a SU hobby demo and craft by myself. You Tube is my life line for making cards.
Thanks for sharing chapstick tip. Never heard of it and it works great. Thanks for keeping in the boo good and showing us how you fixed them. Gorgeous cards
Glad you had the black ink to cover on the blue and green version. I like how the "grass" grounds the tree so it doesn't appear to be floating in mid-air. Card looks more finished with grass and the birds. Fun technique Gonna have to play with it. TFS!
I love how you show your small mistakes! It reminds me that I’m “normal”, LOL because I do that ink stain thing all the time. Love the grass idea to cover it up.
Hi Cass - so glad you enjoyed this video and yes, it's normal to get ink where we didn't want it. The challenge - and the fun - is figuring out how to fix it! LOL I always tell my stampers that they can't make 'mistakes' - just cover it up with stamped images, a ribbon, a flower embellishment, etc. Most times our cards with the 'boo boos' end up being our favourites! Happy stamping!
LOVE this card and technique.. how you fixed where ink got on the card. Can't call it a mistake- a mishap.. lol The idea of using chapstick on your block!!! And it held the stamp. I'm hoping to try this after dinner. I 'm going to check blog for the sizes of cardstock that you used. Thanks for sharing.. And Thanks to Josee Smuck.
Where is the Love button? I can't get over how quickly and beautifully you corrected your mistake. I love everything about these cards! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Tina! Love this technique! I forget who said it but “There are no mistakes in stamping, just happy accidents”. This was definitely a happy accident because adding the grass & birds turned an already beautiful card into a WOW Card.
Hi Amy! Thanks for your comment. Love the 'happy accident' line - I'll be using that! LOL It reminds me of something Bob Ross, the painter, would say! hahah I was really pleased with how the boo-boo card turned out too! Have a great day and happy stamping! xo
Awesome comeback on the 2nd card I actually love it better with the grass & birds it looks like it was intended 😁👍🏻💯I so loved them all you’re so awesome!!!
I'm watching the replay, but would you believe I STILL have these stamp sets the card stock and stamp pads cause I love them all! What a great technique!
Thank you! I make mistakes all the time .. I know they happen all the time and I love when tutorials I watch the person filming actually make a mistake lol makes me not feel so bad she realize it happens to all of us! 😀
Oh my goodness it is 10:40 PM here in Washington state and I want to get up and get out of bed and make that card that is the most beautiful card I have ever seen ever and I said that earlier today about a card but I really mean it about this one and the one you made the boo-boo one is my favorite
