I watched the whole 45 mins. Loved all your reactions and ratings. I am so glad people are loving this masterpiece. 😀 First, this is my favourite movie of all time, there was a lot of resemblance between Gods, mythology and Hindu culture. Sacrificing anything blood/milk to the statue fulfils your wishes and gives you the power to fight evil. That was the significance of that scene.

When Nepal (Gorkha kingdom) fought with british ( east india company) they uses cows and buffaloes bulls etc like in the movie horn on fire. They used bees, they used rocks as we had the hills. In our Indian history, there has been an instance, if not more than one, were kings have used herds of cows and stuck torches of flames on their horns!! From what I've studied, this was a diversion war tactic for the enemy army, to make them think, there is a sea of army holding flames coming to attack them!! In the song when ship flies, you are not supposed to take it "literally". It is romantic scene told in a fantasy manner ( at that point they are just sailing back , but in love and in dream world) . Thats how indian cinema uses elements of fantasy and imagination to paint a larger canvas on which story is told. I know western audience fed on " realism" of cinema find it hard to grasp. But remember it is a drama in end and Rajamauli style is fantastical, mythical and larger than life. It is like being transported to magic realism.

The story is based on an ancient indian principle. "प्राण जाये पर वचन ना जाये" a modern hindi saying that implies that promise shall be fulfilled even if it costs death.
Director of the movie said that the world that his father (the writer) has created is left incomplete so there are chances of bahubali 3 in the future. He recntly said in an interview that he wants to make the 3rd part.
See, katappa had to do this...if he didn't do it then the queen mother had to take this guilt...so katappa did that...al though katappa was a servent to the throne...but he did protest first and said to serve his head...but the queen mother said if he is not able to do this the queen mother will...so he had to do this

Dont worry The tamil version goes well with the movie. As the tamil writers were there from the start of script making and the kiliki language ( in bahubali part one were the language which the opponent war team spoke was created by the tamil writers) . Also there are actors like katapa who spoke in tamil during the film shooting but other actors spoke in telugu. It was a bilingual project but definitely more telugu inclined as director and most of the cast is from that industry.
@@sage.rivendell lol you're wrong then. When watching the movie they asked if tamil version goes well with the movie as they couldn't get or watch in the original version. Every movie is best in ots own original language. But bahubali tamil version is so close to telugu as sivagami and kattapa gave their real voice and spoke all dialogues in tamil. In fact kattapas dialogues were dubbed to telugu but not shot in telugu same way like how prabhas was dubbed to tamil and not shot in tamil. If you compare hindi malayalam and other version you will know thay tamil is the best version closest to telugu.
@@globalcitizen2862 tamil is the only best alternate for the telugu version of the movie. Most of dialogues are same. You think its different because of english subtitle. But english subtitles guve different meaning even for the telugu version so it doesnt matter
The ONLY gripe I have with this movie is that they did not bring back Aslam Khan, who was heavily foreshadowing a heroic comeback in the final battle to save Kattappa, and also Avantika having no role in this despite the previous movie emphasising how badass of a warrior she is.
the way u guys did the rating is why movies from ur side of the world film makers are only focused on ACTION & CGI's and no story and no quality content/characters in it. as an Indian am still glad u guys liked an Indian movie 😂
I think the reason the character Kattappa wasn't jailed for 20 long years under Bhalaladeva because the whole army would be demoralized that can lead to disarray. Bhalaladeva didn't punish Kattapa but goad him to rebel because Kattapa, along with Devasena and the people of Mahishmathi hate him but rather in silence in fear of death.
@@Mr.Indian3 you reply never crossed me on my mind. Have forgotten Kattappa's role as loyal servant just like his predecessors before. Your point makes also valid as one of its reasons. Thank you for reminding me that.
@@jonecuntapay9561 In Indian Culture, if a man gave a word... He will ready to leave his life, but not his word. Kattappa's family took an oath to became a slave to the throne. He was serving the throne with utmost loyalty as their forefathers. It doesn't matter, whoever sits on the throne. Whoever made King by the head of the kingdom, kattappa will serve them. If you observe in the last, kattappa says to bijjala Deva(handicapped) "Shivagami made Mahendra Bahubali king. We thought he died. So we served the wrong king. Now our king is back, we will serve him. Kattappa never disobey his loyalty to the throne". This is the reason, bhallaladeva never had a thought to put him in jail. Infact, kattappa tries to save bhallaladeva against bull in the first part. Also, bahubali go against their own army as he gave word to devasena that he protects her dignity. Words are taken so much seriously. That's how trust builds. That's the dharma (order) indians follow from the ancient times.
Well... you guys should watch SARDAR UDHAM next. That movie is in sharp contrast with Baahubali in the way that it's very grounded and not over the top. The cinematography is awesome and you'd experience a great story telling.

Hope you will read this, Alexander's historians has written that for the first time they saw elephants and huge bow and arrow being used in battles when they came to India. However, they had to turn away after just fighting with the first state king they encountered in India because all the other battle hardened state armies got together and Alexander didn't have the will to fight such a monstrous force. :)
In 1640s, guerilla warfare became pretty popular in Western India used by small armies of freedom fighters/ small kingdoms to fight and win forts/land from big armies of bigger kingdoms. One such trick used was to tie torches to bulls' horns and send them in the opposite direction during night-time. The enemies would see moving lights at night and misjudge the actual army's location in the dark. There were many other such creative tricks used.
They are making Netflix Series on Book "Bahubali : before the beginning", set before Sivgami became Queen Prequel Book was released after movie, so keep looking for that. It may release in late 2022 or in beginning of 2023.

Quick Fact, Indian Cinema have attempted multiple big budget movies with utter faillures on every turn. SS Rajamouli took 5 years to make this, it was a huge budget for a non Bollywood movie at the time. I'm happy he kept the story simple and relied on the main actor to deliver. This movie just feels warm to us Indians because we grow up tales of Mahabharat, Ramayana and always wish to execute those tales as we imagine them. We keep getting inches closer every year.
30:44 Katappa is a slave and his complete loyalty belonged to the king and the kingdom. He loved Bahubali, but he was ordered by the Queen to kill Bahubali and had to carry out the orders. I know it seems a trash movie, but he was duty-bound to carry out the orders.
20:02 it's jus imagination And there re soo many things you guys missed while talking to each other I wish there 's some indian guy right there to explain each scenes And my must favourite scene was the राज्याभिषेक scene when Bahubali about to take oath as chief of the army It's soo powerful every time I watch I get goosebumps bcz of the must oldest and scientific language संस्कृत sanskrit.
I think you guys will love GANGS OF WASSEYPUR: it is a 5.5 hours long movie and even Martin Scorsese likes the movie, a lot. Speaking of Hamlet (since you mentioned The Lion King), you have to watch HAIDER, any person who has seen it, believes it to be the best adaption of Hamlet.

Oh wow, you watched the version where you see Kumara Varma get killed on screen.😱😱 I'm from Japan, and when Baahubali was first released in our country, we had an "International version" which had about 30 minutes of screentime cut from each movies to fit in with movie theatre regulations. Baahubali was an immense success in Japan, so the distribution company negotiated with the original Indian company, and luckily the full version was released about a year later. But this one too didn't have Kumara dying on screen. We got to see Kumara die on screen in the IMAX version. We were SO shocked because that was the only scene that was completely different, and we didn't know about it (we did know about the words "INTERVAL" popping up in the end of Bhallaladeva's coronation scene). This was especially shocking to us because Kumara Varma is the most popular character among us Japanese Baahubali fans. (though my favourite is Bidjaladeva LOL) It traumatised some Kumara stans. XD Hey, BTW you can still see Baahubali in theatres in Japan (spontaneously though) thanks to the special bond we created with the director (S.S Rajamouli), the producer (Shobu Yarlagatta), and actors (Rana Daggubati and Subbaraju. Prabhas couldn't come because of CO-VID), and the huge success of RRR.😘 I watched "The Conclusion" about 30 times in theatre. XD

When Nepal (Gorkha kingdom) fought with british ( east india company) they uses cows and buffaloes bulls etc like in the movie horn on fire.
They used bees, they used rocks as we had the hills.
That's how they never got to capture Nepal.
Guns and bombs vs household weapons and rocks was the war that time.
Insanely fierce brave & smart people.
The East India Company isn't even British though lol... it's Dutch.
Songs are often fantasies that’s why the ship can fly😂

Friend, you pointed out a very interesting thing there!!
In our Indian history, there has been an instance, if not more than one, were kings have used herds of cows and stuck torches of flames on their horns!!
From what I've studied, this was a diversion war tactic for the enemy army, to make them think, there is a sea of army holding flames coming to attack them!!
There is a war scene depicting this same scenario, in another epic Indian movie, Bajirao Mastani, made by a Veteran filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali!! You guys should check his films out!! They are epic masterpieces of their own proportions!!
Rajamouli also uses so many references from our historical scriptures, in all his films!! It's just amazing!!
Loved your Bahubali reviews!!
Love from India ❤️❤️❤️
In the song when ship flies, you are not supposed to take it "literally". It is romantic scene told in a fantasy manner ( at that point they are just sailing back , but in love and in dream world) . Thats how indian cinema uses elements of fantasy and imagination to paint a larger canvas on which story is told. I know western audience fed on " realism" of cinema find it hard to grasp. But remember it is a drama in end and Rajamauli style is fantastical, mythical and larger than life. It is like being transported to magic realism.
Diamond Dave's rating is '' Keeping it real '' honest .. Appreciate him standing out in his opinion 👏👍 As usual you guys were all awesome, you always entertain us more while we watch you get entertained. Respects & regards from a proud and patriotic Indian dude domiciled in Hong Kong. 🙏💖
Thank you! 🙏👍🤘 We appreciate it.
I frickin love it when the movies I love or like are being loved like this by reactors. The story telling in this one was very underrated as most people just appreciated the action of it. And I gotta be honest, I was only as impressed as Diamond Dave was with the series but absolutely loved every minute of it watching you guys loving it. lol Keep it up!!
Thank you and thanks for watching. While I still enjoyed it, it didn't hit as much as the first one did for me. Much appreciated.🤙
Interesting
See, katappa had to do this...if he didn't do it then the queen mother had to take this guilt...so katappa did that...al though katappa was a servent to the throne...but he did protest first and said to serve his head...but the queen mother said if he is not able to do this the queen mother will...so he had to do this
We get why. Just thought maybe he could've done something.
So glad that you liked it!!

there was a book right? 'the rise of shivagami'?

This is just a start for Indian Cinema, there is a possibility in near future India may capture world's imagination.
Not untill vfx industry keeps up with world level.
19:37 it's a dream song that's why it's flying I can understand because Hollywood don't have songs & dance in movies they don't understand culture & art
It's NOT about actor and shit. Its about conveying the dialogues with the RIGHT emotion and Intensity. #Tamil dub seems utterly FLAT.
@@sage.rivendell yes, some of the meaning also is different too, which made it disappointing to see.
@@globalcitizen2862 tamil is the only best alternate for the telugu version of the movie. Most of dialogues are same. You think its different because of english subtitle. But english subtitles guve different meaning even for the telugu version so it doesnt matter
yeah, even nasser spoke in tamil
The ONLY gripe I have with this movie is that they did not bring back Aslam Khan, who was heavily foreshadowing a heroic comeback in the final battle to save Kattappa, and also Avantika having no role in this despite the previous movie emphasising how badass of a warrior she is.
Thank you very much for reacting to this. Hope you will do more indian movie reaction.3 idiots or PK would be great.
the way u guys did the rating is why movies from ur side of the world film makers are only focused on ACTION & CGI's and no story and no quality content/characters in it.
as an Indian am still glad u guys liked an Indian movie 😂
Exactly my feeling. western movies are lacking strong story & story telling now a days.
They only have big budgets & CG technology
Watch SARDAR UDHAM next
Available on Amazon, this is the best film of 2021
I think the reason the character Kattappa wasn't jailed for 20 long years under Bhalaladeva because the whole army would be demoralized that can lead to disarray. Bhalaladeva didn't punish Kattapa but goad him to rebel because Kattapa, along with Devasena and the people of Mahishmathi hate him but rather in silence in fear of death.
Kattappa is a loyal servant to the throne. Why king will jail a loyal person when he can actually use him however he wants?
Love the energy these guys bring ❤️🔥

The movie was actually simultaneously shot in Telegu and Tamil so this is pretty authentic. And funnily enough I also watched 1 in Telegu and 2 in Tamil. I've seen both movies in both languages now though. Awesome reaction. A super satisfying conclusion I'd give it a 4.8
Hope you will read this, Alexander's historians has written that for the first time they saw elephants and huge bow and arrow being used in battles when they came to India. However, they had to turn away after just fighting with the first state king they encountered in India because all the other battle hardened state armies got together and Alexander didn't have the will to fight such a monstrous force. :)
I would suggest you to do react on "Tumbaad" movie. Its a masterpiece movie.I think you should watch the movie.
This Review was absolute Gold !. Great work Guys ❤️.

Prequel Book was released after movie, so keep looking for that.
It may release in late 2022 or in beginning of 2023.
Very intriguing
That cliffhanger went so viral that when the movie team went to meet the prime minister even he asked the director that why kattappa killed baahubali?
That stamp" director name" he used that stamp At the end of his every film
Bahubali is not movies it gives the direction to all director, how to make movies..

MY RATING FOR THE EPIC BAHUBALI 2 IS 4.5 OUT OF 5 STARS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥ITS SPECIAL BECAUSE THIS MOVIE STARTED THE REVOLUTION OF OUR INDIAN CINEMA SO IT WILL ALWAYS BE A SPECIAL ONE NOT THE BEST ONE BUT THE SPECIAL ONE ❤️💥
Thanks Guyss💪🏼🔥 Loved Your reaction thoroughly ♥️

30:44 Katappa is a slave and his complete loyalty belonged to the king and the kingdom. He loved Bahubali, but he was ordered by the Queen to kill Bahubali and had to carry out the orders. I know it seems a trash movie, but he was duty-bound to carry out the orders.

Oh wow, you watched the version where you see Kumara Varma get killed on screen.😱😱
I'm from Japan, and when Baahubali was first released in our country, we had an "International version" which had about 30 minutes of screentime cut from each movies to fit in with movie theatre regulations.
XD
Hey, BTW you can still see Baahubali in theatres in Japan (spontaneously though) thanks to the special bond we created with the director (S.S Rajamouli), the producer (Shobu Yarlagatta), and actors (Rana Daggubati and Subbaraju. Prabhas couldn't come because of CO-VID), and the huge success of RRR.😘
I watched "The Conclusion" about 30 times in theatre. XD
Thank you so much
