    Very helpful. Is discovery demands the same as written discovery? Hence, does the term "discovery demands" mean written discovery? Thank you!

      Thanks! Yes, for purposes of this video, I believe I am using those terms interchangeably.

    So…. I paid for a 2 year state college education in applied science for a paralegal curriculum (paid for by me), also I just took a little refresher course which wasn’t cheap either. I want to thank you. I have learned more from your videos for no fee than paying for the education. Wow. Im impressed. So… do you take on lawsuits for individuals? Let’s say for damages occurred from their misconduct and deceit? They have about 3 lawsuits already litigated, settled with no claims of guilt, by every attorney general in the USA. Settlements paid to the state, so they got paid billions by the corporation, the biggest settlement in history……. but hey the victims don’t see any of that money and they are still being injured. Just kind of wondering what’s the best way to peruse it. Id be honored to have someone who honest to represent me.

    • @LydaGroup
      @LydaGroup  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Sorry to hear about your situation. We take on limited litigation cases, and unfortunately we are not able to take cases in a contingency fee basis. And of course the attorneys at our firm can only take on matters in the states in which they are licensed.

    Hi, do I need a lawyer to sue someone over money above the Small Claim threshold? 😩

    • @LydaGroup
      @LydaGroup  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi David, you are generally allowed to represent yourself if you choose to do so (they are greater restrictions if you are attempted to represent your business rather than yourself).

    Good Heavens I wonder if this process is the same process for probate court? I'm in San Diego and my father died ten years ago leaving an inheritance for his four Sons. The older brother is the trustee and he's been ripping us off since 2013. He refuses to give accountability and also he's been renting units of the property since 2013 and he's been pocketing everything. And I've been compiling everything I can to submit for a case against him for breach of fiduciary duties. I've already gone through every fiduciary duty state statute and the ones that are violated. I don't have an attorney I cannot afford an attorney so I have to do this all by myself.

    • @LydaGroup
      @LydaGroup  ปีที่แล้ว

      The probate rules are state specific, and probate litigation poses its own set of complications. Some lawyers may take these cases on contingency fee. Unfortunately, we do not typically do contingency cases. It does sound like you’ve done your homework. Good luck to you in this difficult situation.

    You have to learn as a Plaintiff, how to do a Lawsuit, so if you are successful, you can win it, in its entirety!

  • @maggseb

    What if the defendant doesn't respond? ...after you file the lawsuit. The defendant has to answer the plaintiff, Even with the motion to dismiss, he/she still has to answer the plaintiff.

    • @yirmeyahu_tdoc

      Technically a motion is considered an answer because he/she makes movement in the case.
