Thank you for your honesty. After my last Kelly 25 my sales associate left. I will no longer seek a client/SA relationship at that store. I don’t want to be bounced around or feel disappointed. I was with my SA for 4 or 5 years and in that time I got 3 wonderful bags but I didn’t spend even nearly to 1:1 it was far less. For that I’m grateful and done!! Taking your advice girl so thanks!
Yep! It’s like rolling the dice if your Sa leaves you just really don’t know how it will go next time and since u already have expectations it can be frustrating when the expectation is no longer the same.

I remember in the 90’s , it was my first time going to an Hermes store but not into designer bags then, they have the Kelly bags on display n black and gold , where you can touch and try them on and just buy it! I think it was about $3,500 ! But of course I was young , fresh graduate and had no money at that time, if only I had known☺️

I loved this video! I was raised to save money not spend. Yet now that I have kids I kinda like the way your parents did it. Same ethic of working hard but I resented working. I see how having a goal and what you want really helped you work even harder.

our grandfather said if the store intimidates you that means you cant afford it. our grandmother was always dragging us around to expensive stores and it got to be scary or something in those stores. all of the clothes mostly are real expensive. we didnt buy much in those stores. n she said she didnt know the stores made us nervous. she didnt take us in hermes stores... maybe, but it was near those stores. not so sure whats in the galleria here, but she didnt drag us to shop there. but here they are republican n got high stores n we know somes business style clothes, but they cater to rich people here often. every clothes item must start at like $100 to help women spend more on clothes or something. thats store brand regular prices, but as a teen we werent used to those prices.
Same we would opt for wait list would have saved a lot of anxiety lol we visited our local store for the 1st time since pandemic our SA is no longer 😔 there so its like starting all over again we were given another SA but of course they have their previous customers so we fall to last on list lol anyway store was busy the SA was serving us and 2 other clients at same time so it was a different vibe saw another established customer tell the manager things have to change i agree felt like we were in a regular store we emailed her what we are looking for since its been a few yrs but i don't expect an offer so when we travel to Japan we will look for the Constance to complete our wish list lol
Yes it’s the worst when the SA leaves after you have established a relationship. Japan is awesome still great deals to be found! Not like before but often better than aus / usa
@@Purseonfleek yes our SA was great but moved on to another job he was great got us 2 bags in the 1st year and he offered an exotic but we had to decline due to family circumstances we still regret it till today but we didnt feel right buying during a family crisis . Just disappointed that we were never notified that he left and i had to email to ask for someone to replace him but i understand she has her own established clients so we aren't expecting anything we still buy online and wherever we go but miss that email saying something may be available but like you said Japan has places to buy genuine new and preloved once they open up again lol
Not talking from personal experience (sadly😅), but from what I’ve seen with two friends of mine, I think Germany kind of still, at least partially operates a waitlist system. Both had themselves put on the list in early 2020 and didn’t buy anything since then (and very few items prior to asking to be put on the list), and both got the call in late 2021. Gold Kelly and gold Birkin. And neither of them has a go-to SA at Hermès. No idea though how much they follow a chronological order with fulfilling the list. I‘ve had my name put down for a black epsom B 35 in mid 2020 and haven’t heard anything from my boutique.

Yes absolutely! Second what Kate said and then there are many many others! But the one I use I found back in 2015 and she has become a dear friend I find she doesn’t have a high sourcing fee like some others do.

I think it boiled down to the SM who was blocking the SA from fulfilling any wish I had for a dream bag which thus caused her stress. And now he has left (sm) or asked to leave so I kind of heard 🤓. But it was wrong of Hr to call because this whole issue was caused by Hermes and their own system if they sold ppl the bags they wanted then no one would need to be asking often would they
Just FYI - I wanted to dispel the Chinese whispers. Rik was definitely not asked to leave and in fact, he actually hasn’t left Hermès.. It may seem easier to blame him but you should take some time to reflect on why you were perceived in a negative way. @@Purseonfleek

You’ve been FAR too patient with those people. Frankly, if I were you, I’d go the pre-loved route for the rest of my life rather than give that brand another cent. I know it’s more expensive much of the time to buy pre-loved… Maybe switch to another brand; Hermes seems tainted forever by this absurd treatment.
You expressed yourself well. They don’t give a shit about anyone but the super-wealthy or celebrities.
I actually think it s comparatively „cheaper“ to buy pre loved, hear me out : you pay exactly for what you want when you want it. At the boutique you are flushing unlimited amounts of cash down the drain for items you likely wouldn’t have bought without your „journey“ for the bag. They either collect dust in your home or you ve showered friends and family with ties and scarves. Makes no sense if your gifts had been a. More varied, b. Likely cheaper on average (and more Personably, being honest !) if you weren’t consciously trying to spend thousands at Hermes
THEN you might or might not be offered a bag that might or might not be a color and combination you like.
I wouldn’t ever do the boutique route. Reason being I am not that crazy for their interior items, their silk items and certainly not their slg. Like some of their shoes and belts, hate their clothes. So I don’t realistically want their other stuff. Makes no sense shelling out money for items I don’t desire (and why would I gift them to f&f then)
