*For anyone wondering about the tumblr thing, a quick explanation from someone who was there:* Someone made a post along the lines of "people say they want a streamer who knows how to control their chat like Sneegsnag isn't right there". It gained traction, and people started reblogging it assuming it was a joke making fun of streamers, as "Sneegsnag" sounds kind of like a nonsense word. Coincidentally, a lot of the popular memes on tumblr right now are nonsense words, such as "blorbo from my shows", "Eeby Deeby", and "Skrunkly", which further reinforced the idea. The OP of the post tried multiple times to convince people Sneegsnag is, in fact, real, which made more people reblog the shenanigans. Some people on the post still do not believe he is real.
Bonus info bc i think this is hilarious: people started posting pictures of other streamers and calling them sneegsnag, sneegsnag from my streams became a phrase, & people drew miku binder sneegsnag fanart calling him an oc. The original poster of the sneegsnag post is actively engaging in the shenanigans and a bunch of mcyt fans are posting even more misinformation to confuse everyone else.
Not to mention everyone on Tumblr collectively losing their shit last week about Horse Plinko. And the whole Penismp thing that happened with the dreamsmp guys on there.
