My best guess for why the original video is down is because the original creator of the cover wasn’t happy with the meaning of the song in retrospect, or something like that.

The animated version was already privated when the original was uploaded as he deemed it a bit too gruesome even for TH-cam back then. Too bad since it was already 100% done. But overall I'm still super glad there's a way to listen to this cover after all these years.
Kind of wild how the Kyo cover was taken down for that reason yet the original featuring Miku, which had much more disturbing art and more disturbing implications given how young she sounds, was allowed to stay up to this day
