The nice thing is that there’s a playlist that reverts the majority of changed stages to their og forms. Also wasn’t bridge master formerly the last level?
The game puts the same penalties on the jump function as it does with the help function, with the exception of mission objectives. So you can’t abuse it too much.
@@Thisisthegreatestatofalltime actually, no it doesn't, but the jump button is entirely optional. you don't even *get* the jump until after completing both this and SMB2 master, though, so that's kind of a moot point anyway. it's a post-game reward, why not make it absolutely busted in these stages?
@@chopping_board1 You know what, I'll take that L. It's been so long since I got the jump feature that I forgot it was in the shop and not a reward for completing things. However, it's still entirely optional, so I don't see a reason for it to not be in the game.
If you spend $10 more you can buy the Deluxe version of the game which includes the OST for 1 and 2. I highly doubt it will come to the base version. Granted that's what I'm use to from the originals, but I can't stand this new stuff.
Okay so I just got the game the other day. First run of Master took me almost 50 minutes with almost 200-ish Fallouts. Tried it again earlier and it was like 6 minutes with 14 deaths. What
Wave master is the hardest level in this game, and yes, I have beaten stamina master, edge master, and bridge master in significantly less time than it took me for wave master
I do not know if this is intentional or was a thing in the original but the Master's floors are kind of illusionary. Inside the ball you can see the checkered floor textures instead of blank colors, that is probably why you cannot see a shadow under the ball.
I really like this new song. Now that I've finally heard every new stage song I can say I really like the ost as a whole. B tier for the new song, B or A for the entire ost. Also I love Jam's scream when he falls
It's worth pointing out on edge master for anyone trying to beat it, you don't have to fall straight down at the end like this video to do the skip if you find it tricky to land. You can go to other end of the L shape and do a run up into the goal area. It's not quite as quick but it's a surefire way to skip without risking a fallout.
Wave Master's cycle is different, and there's a couple of blocks that are quite spacious from each other. Fan Master and Edge Master and Stamina Master's skip is harder because of the game's physics.
All I felt was pain when I accidentally said yes when the prompt asking if I wanted the helper function on dance master
THEY GOT RID OF FAN MASTER’S RAINBOW NOOOOOOOOOOOO
It was so pretty tho… ;_____;

It never was in SMB1 but it was in the arcade version
The jump function is kinda OP in this mode

I hope the OST will officially be released soon… so I can hear it without gameplay on top of it.

some stages got buffed, and others got nerfed?
HOLY CRAP, MY BRAIN
I'm glad some stages got buffed too, I was worried things would be too easy
Literally no one wanted “buffs”.

The shadows are missing on every reflective surface. I think it's a programming error.
I heard now that "Pause Buffing" still exist.
Of course it still exists, it’s just pausing to get a certain time on the timer.
It was sorta nerfed though

I have a question: Do you have to beat Expert to unlock Master in this game (like the older ones), or is it available at the start?
You must beat Expert, yes.
@@SuperMonkeyCherrim Alright, makes sense. Thank you.
You have to beat all three base difficulties.
You don't have to worry about falling out too much either. Just beat Expert.

I don't mind the remixed music at all, but I find myself going back to the original soundtrack.
In what ways were those levels buffed? They seem rather similar to their usual forms

not even everything in the stages moves slower and platforms are not as thin as the originals.
doesnt feel like master at all
God, Edge Master is horrifyingly obnoxious.
Dodge and Dance Master were my least favorite stages in SMB1, and I consider Dodge Master the hardest SMB1 Master stage, I'm glad they were nerfed.
Oh wow, it looks like a lot of these stages got nerfed. Most obstacles look like they move slower.
Probably to line in difficulty with SMB2 master. It was a lot easier then SMB1, after all.
Even still, these stages won’t be a cakewalk, especially Master 3
Monkey master had the goal moved, no longer at the top
SMB1 Master music is Space Harrier? Nice
I don't like the new song, it's the new one I like the least. It doesn't really provide the mysterious atmosphere the original does.
What is Monkey Ball Banana Mania Marathon Mode
Combines all stages from one game theres smb1 marathon and smb2 marathon.
There is no ultimate mode.
@@MrCat-se7ws Damn!

Bridge Master looks easier, not like I struggled with it or anything..
To be fair, dance master was such bs
I can't believe you would spoil the game before it even came out.
