The more I see Charlotte, the more I see our Queen in her....................................................It's now the 18th of September 2022, I've added this on to the above comment I wrote 3mnths ago ending with the word her. Just to say when I put I can see our Queen in her (God rest her soul now) I was referring to how Charlotte resembled Queen Elizabeth. Some of the comments seem to indicate I was saying she would be the Queen one day.

The fact Charlotte already has such skill, in first of all knowing what’s expected of her, but secondly having the etiquette not to make a fuss - what an excellent little royal she is! I hope she is bestowed with her great aunt Anne’s title of Princess Royal when the time comes. She’ll surely keep manners on the future King George! She’s learning a lot from Catherine already!

In fact children thrive on rules and knowing what’s expected of them. As for this situation, it is common place for every person, from any background, to stand up straight when a National Anthem is playing. The school I teach at, we play our National Anthem each Monday + Friday at Assembly and all children, aged from 5 to 12, as well as all staff, are expected to stand, straight, still, arms by their side + sing the anthem. Standard practice in most countries. Charlotte was simply supporting George by reminding him in his tiny lapse of focus.

Imagine being that age and having to have every move you make, even how you stand still properly choreographed.
I understand where you’re coming from but when it’s all you know from birth, I think it’s a lil easier than if you’re thrown into it. Although since they’ve got a royal bloodline that dates back over 1,200 years, they probably knew how to act even before being born! 😁 But again, I can see where even though they’ve been brought up in that environment, they still are children and aren’t exempt from the boredom and tiredness just like any non-royal.

It was an incredibly looooooong weekend but the children really held it together, were so very well mannered and were just kids laughing, curious and having fun. Louie is a handful and his expressions hilarious! And then there is Charlotte: A bit bossy in her very subtle way. Clearly, she is the “rules” keeper and monitor! I bet that goes on at home, as well.
By Sunday I think tempers were getting a bit frayed, by their expressions in the benches
