Vegas guy here. Coffee pointer: the hotter the water the less the caffeine and more bitterness. 190 degrees Fahrenheit is about the best temperature 😊😊😊
I went from California to Kauai, and there's a learning curve to living in a tropical place. The closer you get to the Equator, life seems to slow down a bit and Mother nature is King. As soon as you understand this and adapt, the better you'll enjoy! Aloha!

Loving this new series, It's bringing back childhood memories of camping on may 2-4 weekend and being soaked with a deflated air mattress lmao. I love how they have spots with little huts you can use or put your tent under. Hope Mads feels better and you guys get some sunshine!
The rain is hard to take when there is no let up. You two are amazing to tough it out. I pray that Mads gets better, so she can enjoy your adventure. You two are certainly outside of your comfort zone. I hope the sunshine will come out for you. The drone needs to sit in the rice for 24-48 hours. 💗

Oh, Costa Rica. I miss it there. We also were in the jungle,away from the camp, when we had crazy downpour. Walking up to a concrete watersie in Buena Vista Eco Adventure Park. We figured, you visit a rain forest, you may as well accept the rain. Best part is, the rain made the line non existant at the top, and the slide, faster than normal. I like that, even though you feel not well, you have a smile on your face. Pura Vida.
You two are a scream. Injecting the gospel choir singing "Oh Happy Day" in when the drone fired up was genius 😆 Feel better Mads (although I guess this was a while ago now)
I admire your ability to stay so positive under the circumstances. Poor Mads, I hope she wasn’t sick for too long. Good luck with the drone. The Hot Springs look amazing! Sometimes you need to embrace the suck. When we were there we got stuck in a downpour after a day of ziplines and rappelling and still had an hour ride in the back of a pickup. Live it up.

You might be lucky with the drone. Can't tell until it's fully dried out. Some survive, some don't. As for using that type of camping truck for travelling the world, not going to happen. That is good for warm, dry places that are not too windy. Cold, wet and windy climes and you will be utterly miserable in that. One size does not fit all. Sorry to be the bearer of bd news. Still, there are many great places that are warm, dry and calm (ish) so knock yourselves out and good luck. Have a great Christmas and New Year.

That's roughing it there in that area... even with the truck it's not always easy going there . . With the smaller camper it should be interesting.! Great video! .
Book yourselves into a hotel until you feel better. You will get better sooner and be able to enjoy the trip. Dragging this will just make you miserable and take longer to get better. Life is all about adapting to situations and sometimes a few days of a dry hotel room is what’s in store. 😍
I fell in a stream with my i phone in my pocket and after four days in a bag of rice it worked fine and i had rice for supper. A small tip , do not go to Costa Rica in the rainy season. Eating veggies and rice and sleeping in a tent in a rain forest, and you wonder why you are sick ?

Hey Jose! This was a couple weeks ago. We got unlucky with an extremely rainy end of November! It was much cheaper than the high season, so it was a gamble on our part. Smiles all around though!

You might be lucky with the drone. Can't tell until it's fully dried out. Some survive, some don't. As for using that type of camping truck for travelling the world, not going to happen. That is good for warm, dry places that are not too windy. Cold, wet and windy climes and you will be utterly miserable in that. One size does not fit all. Sorry to be the bearer of bd news. Still, there are many great places that are warm, dry and calm (ish) so knock yourselves out and good luck.

Book yourselves into a hotel until you feel better. You will get better sooner and be able to enjoy the trip. Dragging this will just make you miserable and take longer to get better. Life is all about adapting to situations and sometimes a few days of a dry hotel room is what’s in store. 😍

I fell in a stream with my i phone in my pocket and after four days in a bag of rice it worked fine and i had rice for supper. A small tip , do not go to Costa Rica in the rainy season. Eating veggies and rice and sleeping in a tent in a rain forest, and you wonder why you are sick ?

When did you record this vid? CR Is not in the rainy season,! December and January are the best months to travel to Costa Rica!
Hey Jose! This was a couple weeks ago. We got unlucky with an extremely rainy end of November! It was much cheaper than the high season, so it was a gamble on our part. Smiles all around though!
