You haven't a clue what a beautiful bike looks like. That a mountain bike design with racing handlebars. Go look at a racing bike from the 80's or 90's not this crap heap.
Interesting that Laura has a long upper body and short legs - exactly the same as my wife. Unfortunately most manufacturers market ladies specific bikes with a short reach - exactly opposite to what I needed for my wife so we went for a normal man`s frame and she looks spot on on the bike - just like Laura.
Certainly for disc's, it's worth properly degassing them before using in anger. What I normally do (with new pads, rotors, or both) is get up to speed and 'drag' the brakes very lightly for around 60 seconds to build some moderate heat. Then, 10 times in a row get up to a good speed and brake firmly down to a fast walking pace - but not ever coming to a stop as this can cause heat concentration. At the end, ride around to let everything cool off then come to a normal stop. Done correctly it will give good bite in the brakes, ensure the brake fluid has been put under pressure, plus reduce the chance of squealing.
After all her dedication to cycling she deserves the best. Some moron that has been on Big Brother will be much richer but only in cash not respect like this great lady.
Sawing carbon steerer tube with hacksaw (causing longitudinal delamination of fibres) instead of cutting with suitable carbide disc. And yes doing all that without a mask...stupidity. I wonder if Sigma Sports Employer Liability insurers are watching this?

I JUST HAD MY THIRD DREAM BUILD! IT IS A COLNAGO C64 DISC (CAN'T AFFORD A C68, AT THE MOMENT!), WITH 12-SPEED CAMPAGNOLO SUPER RECORD EPS, WTO ULTRA CARBON WHEELS, SELLE SMP F30 CARBON SADDLE, NEW LOOK KEO CARBON TI PEDALS, ETC! SIGMA SPORTS PROVIDED THE EPS INTERFACE & WIRING KIT! THIS REPLACED MY PREVIOUS C60 WITH FULL CAMPAGNOLO 11-SPEED SUPER RECORD EPS, BORA ULTRA WHEELS, ETC! I ONLY REPLACED IT BECAUSE FRAME WAS TOO BIG (I HAD A BIKE FIT & 5 X COLNAGO DEALERS GAVE ME WRONG SIZE!), AND COULD NOT GET AN 11-34 CASSETTE! ALTHOUGH I GOT THE FIT SORTED WITH ANOTHER FIT WHICH FOUND STEM WAS TOO LONG, AND BARS TOO WIDE, IT LOOKED SILLY WITH AN 80MM STEM! LAST YEAR, I BOUGHT A LITTLE USED BIANCHI SPECIALISSIMA (RIM BRAKE!) IN CUSTOM ORANGE, TOOK OFF THE AWFUL BLAND SHIMA(NO!) DURA-ACE, AND REPLACED WITH A NEW CAMPAGNOLO 12-SPEED SUPER RECORD EPS GROUPSET & WTO 33 CARBON WHEELS, ETC!!!
El peor castigo que puede recibir un cuadro de bicicleta de calidad es ponerle un grupo de segunda línea... Ultegra no encaja... Tiene que ser DURA - ACE DI2... ya no uso segundas líneas porque siempre quedarás con ese gusto a poco... Para una bici de gama más baja si... Eso... Saludos 😊

Now Laura needs to be booked for a Cafe Ride with Matt Stephens".
Or Andrew Ridgley
That rose gold color way is so nice - lovely machine!
I don’t care what she calls herself, she was a great ambassador for British cycling
Thats a beautiful looking bike , enjoy laura 👍
Sweet sweet bike ..... and nice build video
sweet colnago!
/bedded my face into portsmouth concrete, possibly my first & only ever track lap, after relaxing into the pack with a quick freewheel
the cherry would have been Matt still standing in the shop window watching Laura leave...
🤣
Laura Trott ❤
What a beautiful bike 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I’m happy enough with my bike from Decathlon 😊

Ive never heard that before about the brakes, interesting ive always just used them as normal when ive first got a new bike.

What torque wrench were you using? Thanks
It is a Topeak wrench - www.sigmasports.com/item/Topeak/D-Torq-Torque-Wrench/SY3X
Aldi
I bet they loved having such a lovely customer.
Ultegra is more than good enough, it's sad that it's not Campag though.
Free??
Ultegra Laura beauty though
Can't believe you don't bed in the brakes on new bikes you sell!

Beautiful, the bikes not bad too 😊
Centrelock splines should never be greased 🤦♂️
Yeah wtf? lol
Came to say just that. No grease required.
Why do people put ShimaNO on a beautiful Italian bike? And not even top shelf stuff? C'mon Laura, spring for Super Record.
Only Ultegra....for the Dame of cycling 😮
Guessing a freebie?
I assembled my new bike myself last year. : ) TIME Alpe d'Huez
Ulterga?
Was it free,
First thing anyone does is pull the brake levers 😂
very true 😆

I hope you mechanics at sigma sports are not supposed to be clamping the frame of an expensive bike
I just saw the bike builder touch the contact points of the rotor. Please handle by the spider.

Shouldn’t be touching rotors with your bare fingers because of the oil in your skin contaminating them, very poor from a so called pro mechanic.
Does she really call herself dame ???
She is an absolute legend, she can call herself anything she likes, in whatever accent she likes.

You'd have thought she could afford Dure-Ace, lovely bike though.
The classic steel Colnago is far better in the simplicity and elegance. The new equipment is over complicated and unnecessary.
Notice how she didn’t choose the ugly Y1RS
Should have gone Ribble… more local.
