I am very fortunate to know sambasiva Rao garu, personally and I used to visit him very frequently and know his family. He visited my house in Madras (now Chennai),, when I was staying at West k k nagar, munusami sali. He attended the opening function of my office at T. Nagar. When I shifted to Delhi, and I have come to Madras, I attended his daughters marriage in a function that was attended by big personalities in the cine field and other fields. I was introduced to many of them. I read almost all his novels. When he was writing Nenu Nenu kadu. His old novels got reprints. He used to say, that his reprint gets a minimum of 10000 rs income after meeting all expenses. Once he wanted a copy of the 888 novel that he did not have for reprint. We searched to get a copy and finally he succeeded and went for reprinted to release to the market. All my family members of my age were fans and read most of the novels. I can share many events in association with him.
He is my very favourite writer. He has written nearly 125 or 130 novels. I have read nearly 110 books. Not only detectives, his social novels are also very good. In one of his interviews he said, his son was born very late, his name is Subramanyam. May be the name you mentioned is second son or name was later changed. His financial difficulties after hearing I felt very bad. But you mentioned his son is now CEO of some company. After knowing this one I am very happy and thanking you very much for your programme on Sri. Commuri Sambasiva RAO GARU. His created characters are forever in the minds of his readers. Insprctor Swarajya RAO, sarjent sivam, Kathy's are some of those. Thank you kiranprabha GARU. I request you please do programme on another 3 persons. 1. Thank you very much for the talk show on Kommuri Sambasiva rao. I was reading them during my high school days in 1955-60s.I was curious to know about him and wanted to see his photo also. However they were never fulfilled until when I came across one of his novels in the net a few years back , most probably republished by 'Sahiti publications' in which at the end of the book there was his brief biography and his photo also. I could get more information now ,about him in your talk show and thank you once more. Thanks for the very interesting presentation with a pleasing voice.

Kommuri sambasivarao is a great telugu novelist not only detective novels but some smooth romantic novels only afew can write such a style
