"I must die a thousand death before I can truly live". One must shed their past and learn from it in order to move forward. There are two lines in Sinister Smiles that emphasises this "Then you will never get to Walk away from all the horrors And the pain that moves us forward You have just found out what it is like to live a lie" "And for what it's worth you'll never live until you die". This is also a common theme in addiction recovery. The entire album has so much meaning in different aspects of life it not just how the story unfolds. A little hint for the last song

I may not have mentioned previously, but the lyrics in the CD are handwritten and accompanied by drawings and doodles to simulate the pages of a girl's diary. The lyrics start out neatly written and clean and precise, but “starts to get messier as her mind gets messier” (quote from Pau in her Pau Day May 30th 2020 Vinyl Collection video). As it goes on, the words are all over the place with capitalization and fonts and there is blood on the pages. That's the closest thing to paper associated with this album that I know of.
I guess in my mind the paper burning was just a symbol of the story coming to an end. But what do I know! Pau is definitely into this song. I wonder if this is one of the first songs she wrote for this album. Then made everything else fit into it.

This song was an instant favorite as soon as first heard it! With any three piece band, all three have to be good for the whole to be good, much like a 3 legged stole. All three are so good, you almost don't notice how great each of them are. In this song, the Queen and the Grim Reaper are taunting each other, until finally one wins out. I believe the line is "fall unto me now" not "fall on me now". So, the Grim Reaper is just waiting for the Queen to slip, and then she will be the Grim Reaper's.
I think you may well be correct in saying that the album should be made in to a movie or a rock novel/ opera , or both .I'm expecting to see this happen some time in the near future . Great reation as always . 😊

They do a great acoustic version of this song. Ale and Pau really drive this song forward. It ain't KISS but it is definitely a classic rock sound. Next song has fantastic guitar work by Dany.

Who ? Sorry,but Band Maid are not even in the same league as The Warning. They are way too gimmicky,and predictable...yeah they're talented,and great musicians,but how many other Japanese bands are exactly the same ? Too many,they're all formulaic,and you can only tell one band apart from their stage costumes - sorry,but that's my opinion.

I've known about Band Maid for several years now,and as I mentioned,I've tried to like them,and many of their contemporaries (I don't include The Warning in that),more recently Lovebites,but it just escapes my attention. I have honestly tried and tried to get what other people see in that genre of music J-Rock,but as I said,it doesn't appeal. Also that song Liar by Rollins' Band has the wrong lyrics in the insert. The CD for Queen of the Murder Scene has P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. listed after Hunter and that's wrong.
