I've been going through a rough spot, just found this song yesterday and
I already feel it starting to cheer me up with each play :' )
*edit to this- this was around the time I learnt an old friend of mine passed away- a bit after I had posted this initial comment, I was playing this song out loud on a hiking trail late at night, come back from the liqour store. I was singing this and crying out loud, I didn't think anyone was there since it was winter and was dark, but there was someone sitting on a bench ahead of me I didn't see. I was going through a horrible time, and the stranger asked out loud when i passed them if I was alright. I was so embarassed by crying out loud, but something about this experience I had to write down about. The care in the strangers voice, and also, a question I hadn't been asked for a while...it goes to show you there are people who do care. Even if, they're just strangers.
