@MooMoo0422 just for clarification, are you suggesting that I just show the item, right there and then when I find it, and not do a haul? That’s a great suggestion. I can probably do that on some, if I have enough footage. I do have to agree with @amandamullinax8334 . I do be getting giddy to show ya’ll what I found. Been penny shopping for over a decade since my dad works in corporate so fortunately i get the list before everyone..but that doesnt mean more items arent restocked from the back or when the trucks arrive..even older items from last year are still pennies once they arrive to be sold as new..just check for the older date not 2024..
Yes, I know that they bring stuff from the back. I have seen seasonal items that have pennied (for example, like Christmas and valentines) be brought back onto the floor after they have gone back to full price. I have gone to same stores for almost a year and I can still find pennies, whether old or new. I have also learned that the year on the tag is the year they put them on the floor (or essentially made). A couple of weeks ago I found a vase from last year’s Easter.
I actually do know that. If I just went to it, I won’t go to it again til a new penny list/ deal comes out, which is almost weekly. There are a lot of DGs here where I live, so there’s only so many that I can go to. I am constantly going to those same stores weekly. I’m just talking about seasonal items. If I already have gone to the store and looked all around for the seasonal pennies, I won’t go to it again in the week, not ever again.

You do realize that stores restock old pennies so you miss a ton by not going back to a store you already looked at...with the exception of food
