    hello thank you very much for sharing your experience of becoming a NZ nurse, may l know more details about your coures syllabus and what you have been send to CGFNS? l am preparing about it, l notarize my post-graduate certification , bachelor's degree , my transcript and the form that required on CGFNS website, anything else that l still need to be send to them ? Thank you

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. They will clearly indicate what they need over at CGFNS website and which ever are accepted as a notarized copy. During my time, I needed to send the forms to my school and they will send all the required documents over. You just have to request it from the school and pay a fee.

    hi mam, if nclex passer, with cgfns already but currently in kuwait, not uet in US, do i still need to do CAP?

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. I recommend you email ncnz directly. And check with cgfns if yung US cgfns, puede magamit for nz.
      Eto yung sa ncnz website.
      If you hold current registration in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, the United States of America or Canada, you may not need to complete a CAP because the registered nurse role and healthcare context in these countries is similar to New Zealand. We will advise you if you need to complete a competence assessment programme after we assess your application.

    Really important .could you pls tell me how many days usually takes for CGFNS process?particularly,to claryfy my all documents have been recieved by CGFNS .

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. It really depends on an individual basis but if you wanna query whether your documents have been received by cgfns, you could file in a support thru the portal or you can call their hotline. But you need to check first from your school/courier service. On their website, you could also go thru their FAQs. Usually it’ll take them a month to review/assess your documents once they’ve received everything.

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi.. that should be okay. I’m not sure if there’s an option now on cgfns where you can request self submission. If not, you can take your documents from college and courier it yourself but make sure you put sender as you college name and not yourself. Does that make sense? And you can also inquire thru cgfns support. 🤗

    I have a 20 moths of works experience and have completed oet with desire course can i apply for cgfns ?
    Or to register cgfns is it compulsory to have experience latter ?
    Lastly is cgfns exam ??
    I mean i need to give exam to register for cgfns ??

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Cgfns is just a verification platform. It will verify your documents. Once it’s do e, they will send it to nursing council new zealand.
      Cgfns does check the requirements of ncnz. So if ncnz requires 2 years of nursing experience, you have to have atleast 2 years.. 🤗

      Hi. I just went to the official OET website. Followed both their youtube and facebook pages and watched tons of videos from there. What I recommend is you Listen to Ted Health/medical related podcasts and read medical journals. That will really help with understanding and expanding your vocabulary. I didnt really enrol in any trainings. But if you want to, Official OET has lots of recommendations.

    Hi Herlene am overseas registered nurse and am holding 3 years diploma in nursing
    Can I be registered nurse in NZ? thank you so much

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your nursing qualification must be comparable to a Bachelor of Nursing degree in New Zealand.
      A Bachelor degree is at level 7 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF).
      If you go and look at the chart by clicking the link below and going thru the nursing qualification part, diploma is at level 7/8.
      Ncnz will assess that But You can always email nursing council new zealand to inquire. They can advise you properly. Hope this helps. Most of the people i know are from the philippines. I did have a few friends from Singapore but i have to ask whether they came with a diploma/advance dip.

    • @alwaysfindjoy
      @alwaysfindjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi po. You can start your cgfns. It’s just verifying your documents to be sent to ncnz. Once may ncnz registration ka na or waiting, you can then find an employer. I diy’d it po. Ill find time to make a video about it. But basically, i went to look for an area where i want to work. Ie, auckland. Then look for the district health board sa area na yun. Like auckland dhb then i went to look for vacancies under their career section po.
